Dr. Jean Holdren, DO

Dr Holdren will permanently close both of her office locations in mid April, 2018. Received a letter in March to let me know. I already had another PCP in place so no issue there. But getting the office staff to complete important forms is next to impossible. They'll tell you not to have anything faxed because the fax machine doesn't work properly and they'll say they never received the forms in the mail. This was last fall prior to office closing.

I like Dr.Holdren, but her Beaver PA staff of 2 is too rude, cold, and impatient. Especially by phone. Happens too often. I have been hung up on at least 3-4 times by the manager, Dr. Holdren's mother, when having to have Ins.Coverage Gap forms completed yearly in order to receive much needed Diabetic insulines on time from the drug manufacturing company. She gets stressed out and very impatient when I try to explain the necessity of forms done timely. Seriously considering finding new Doctor.

My last visit "literally" to Dr. Holdren was for an old problem I was having with my bladder and my bowels. I only wanted her to refer me to someone who had the expertise to help me. When I tried to give her the background on the problem, she kept cutting me off and abruptly said, "I don't want to hear anymore about that! It's a problem for your "gyny". I assumed she meant "gynocologist". Sadly, she is rude and unprofessional. That is and will be my last visit to her.

She cares about her patients. She explains things to you. She spends time with you and is very through. The wait is never long

Dr. Holdren is nice but all her staff, including her mother that works the desk, are too rude for me to continue at her practice. I recently called for test results and was chastised for calling the wrong office. I was also told that they get a stack of results every day and can't possibly go through them all and give results when the patient calls for it. Hope I don't learn I have anything serious when I finally track down my results.
