It seems that this is a recurring problem with this practice. Just tried to schedule an appointment with this office and the scheduler couldn't have been more unprofessional. Dr. Vanderpool, I would suggest you change your office personnell to staff that really take pride in their work and treat clients or potential clients with dignity and respect.

Dr Vanderpool has been wonderful to me when I was at my worst. He was very respectful, courteous and caring. His office is a nightmare though and I have made many complaints. If it wasn't for him I would not come to Atlantis. However, I don't want to switch Drs.

Dr. Vanderpool has an attitude of unwillingness about hearing other ideas that I received from a brain scan done by my primary care doctor that actually showed the areas of my brain that carry my depression and bipolar disorder. He also wanted to completely change all of my medicines at one time which would be detrimental to me. I saw him for a period of 2 years and will not go back after that last appointment which I just described.

This office is a complete joke. They made me take UA's every visit for me to get my medication, and numerous times the nurse wrote down that I FAILED for different drugs, and then they send it to the lab and it comes back NEGATIVE. Also the billing people at the office are lazy. I paid out of pocket one appointment and they billed my insurance meaning they have to give me back the amount I paid, and it's like pulling teeth! Im still trying to get MY money back. Don't go here!!! I promise

Unprofessional , Dr. Vanderpool does not return calls, he makes assumptions without asking necessary questions. His staff take forever to call you back and for medication that need insurance approval they take their time to call it in, they caused mine to expire. Out of two years the best service I received was from one young lady and the female NP. I would not recommend going to him.
