Pain
COVID-19 happened took me a year to get back in touch after several appointments. I was diagnosed with MG during an eye examine for double vision called back to reconnect but was denied. Her staff would not let me talk to her they were rude they had my social security number wrong on my chart before Covid and wrong name on another chart. My daughter caught the problems thank goodness and the staff couldn’t keep appointment dates and times correct. The doctor very friendly once you got to see her but no results .

YIKES
I had a few appointments with Dr. Edwards, during which she ignored a great deal of my concerns. I'd been having weakness, vertigo, tremors... Had an appointment with another neurologist at one point (I wanted a second opinion on something + I was still figuring out which doctor I wanted to see) and she threw a fit like a spouse who'd just found out their partner cheated. Yelled at me. Didn't take me seriously after that, heavily implied my problems are emotional/psychological so I didn't go back. Bonus: Went to my PCP and mentioned that I didn't want to see her anymore and he told me that she has a reputation for not letting dementia patients have their caregivers present. So there's that...

The Best
Dr Edwards is very professional and thorough. She puts you at ease and has no problem with referrals when needed. I pray she never retires. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had no waiting around. Very punctual which is unique these days.

Hollywood Doctor-would not reschedule appointment
My wife had been waiting weeks to see Dr. Edwards, she suffers from multiple illnesses the worst being gastroparesis a condition that causes uncontrolled vommiting. Today she was ready to go to the appointment when she suffered a gastroparesis attack. I called an hour before the appointment to let them know we needed to reschedule due to the this attach, the receptionist said "We don't reschedule appointments" if you can't make it you will have to go to another doctor. Wow, great doctor, no rescheduling for any reason. What a horrible policy to have as a doctor.

We’ve been going to Dr. Edwards since 2019 at which time my wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Dr. Edwards has always been patient, kind , timely and always professional. When we go to my wife’s other doctors they communicate to me about my wife’s diagnosis and never talk to her or even make eye contact . Dr. Edwards always makes eye contact and speaks directly to her, which is awesome to see. Dr.Edwards knows now that I’m a full time Caregiver and she always ask how I’m doing or if she needs to get me help with my wife. We love Dr. Edwards

The staff was super efficient and got me right in. I did show up early to get paperwork done before my appointment and they were so fast I could barely even finish it all. Dr. Edwards was very sweet and attentive to me. She listened to what has been going on with me and was thorough and tested my functioning with mobility in all my limbs and my walking ability. She was quick to get an EEG done for me in the office which I appreciated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They got all my paperwork done well and next appointment was no problem to schedule. I would recommend her again and am excited to come back and get a plan together towards healing

Saw her for a few years. She never wrote anything down I felt like I had to explain what she did durring the last visit and the prescription she put me on. Her receptionist crew changed alot and I had bad experiences with most of those. I was misdiagnosed too.

The office staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. One of the office associates hung up on me ( intentionally) twice. The nurse is kind and professional and Dr. Edwards is a good. We will NOT be returning to the office and are currently seeking a new neurologist . Our reason is solely the front office staff and their unprofessional and rude treatment. I would NOT recommend this office. Check the other reviews. You will find many more comments just like this!

I have experience with neurologists in both California and Oklahoma and Dr Edwards is by far the best I’ve seen for my problems all the other reviews I’ve read seem to be administrative ( office ) conflicts which can be sorted out with work on behalf of both sides please give Dr Edwards a chance I don’t think you will be sorry in the end 40+ years of experience says it all for me and she is a nice person ! The office staff is not impressive. I have been waiting over a month for them to contact me for an appointment. So I called them. They could not find me or my records. The lady I talked to said she would call my doctors office and get my information. I waited two days, called my doctor and they have not heard from Dr Edwards office. My doctor had talked to their office on 5 documented occasions over the last month and sent over my records. Would not recommend. Lousy office staff

Dr. Edwards is only good if you want a dr. that simply tells you what to take and isn't open to your input on your own care. But if you want a dr. where you can play a role in your own care choices; where you can be your own advocate for what you feel is best for you; and if you want a dr. where you can ask questions without the dr. feeling threatened, then she is NOT the right dr. She's from the old school where the pt. simply does what is told and doesn't ask questions. Do NOT recommend her!!

I had a referral from JOHNS HOPKINS that I sent into them, they said they would call back to schedule. A week went by, so I called. "We're still working on it. Try next week." Called then- "We've switched over half of our staff so were playing catch up, try again next week." Called several more times & was assured they had my referral but was given the run around. Finally they told me they no longer had my referral! Gave it AGAIN, in person. Was then told Dr would not see me. I wasted a MONTH!

Very professional, compassionate and dogmatic at getting to the findings of your state of health and seeing you are treated the best possible to your highest health and wellness. I've met many other Neurologists and she is undoubtedly the best I've met.

I would never recommend this Doctor to anyone. My mother took my father to see her, this so called Doctor did nothing but waste their time and upset my family even more because of her lack on knowledge. She cannot perform any tests that a person with Dementia or Alzheimer’s needs to have done. She outsources everything. We wanted a one stop shop for my parents to go once we received our father's diagnosis. This woman caused nothing but frustration and heartache to my family. DO NOT GO!!!!

Went redetermined I would not consent to one more- whatever. Environment, staff, and Dr. Edwards was so comforting and professional, I feel I can totally trust them. SO glad I got a good one! Oh, and Maryann, was very sensitive during EEG, getting results with no extensive measures. And, Samantha, at the front desk, made me feel like a valued client--remember those days? Believe me, THIS is the Neurologist you need!

Dr. Edwards started out being nice but ended up stabbing me in the back and firing me for no reason. She goes through a lot of horrible staff. Talks good about them then tells me the patient they’re “crazy “ when they’re gone. When “fired” by lettering I called to ask why I was told they didn’t have to give me a reason. Found out by new doctor I was wrongly diagnosed, given wrong meds and way over medicated causing me much of my problems.Horrible doctor with questionable character and no ethics.
