My second visit with dr Knotek (both visits she was accompanied my students, didn’t feel like I had her undivided attention) she did a breast exam with no noted concerns . Went to my mammogram 6 weeks following with a couple spots noted and was sent for a breast ultrasound with alarming news that I had Breast cancer metastasized to a lymph node . I was very surprised since I just had my Check up 6 weeks prior, and my oncologist did mention this should have been felt from my obgyn. Since my journey began back In February 2021 I have never received a phone call or any type of acknowledgment from dr Knotek. I was very disappointed and will not be returning to dr Knotek.

Was going to this office for over ten years. Saw two different doctors after frustration with one pushing a specific bc I was not interested in. Had a surprising diagnosis and felt abandoned as the office never called to schedule next steps in process. Would never return.

She was very rough, made me feel stupid when I asked a question. Acted like my concerns were irrelevant. Told me I had to get an ultra sound when I had already told her my normal gyno said it wasn't necessary but proceeded with trying to schedule for me to come anyways. I will not be returning there.

Dr. Knotek is a great doctor. She always makes me feel very comfortable and is able to answer all my questions. The only complaint I have is a couple members of her staff are not nice.

I've never been to the gynecologist before so I was very nervous for my first visit. Dr. Knotek made me feel very comfortable. She was gentle and explained every thing and walked through it with me. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Knotek and her nurse (Marge / Margie I think?) Are both amazing. My first time to any type of gyn appt was with Dr. Knotek and she is the most caring and gentle person you'll ever meet. She will make sure to answer all questions and also make sure you understand. She was so comforting. South Suburban women's Center is the place to go!!!!
