I went to see Dr. Rhee for migraines and preventive medication. I have had migraines for over 14 years, and I have tried most treatments, medications, food allergies, holistic practices, etc. I am a healthcare provider and I have some knowledge about the body. I found Dr. Rhee to be very condescending and arrogant. She was closed minded when I asked for a treatment plan (acupuncture and a new preventive medication on the market, that worked for me in a clinical trial). She offered me one medication and said I had to try it before she would try anything else. She stated 6 migraines a month wasn't that bad! I experienced her as callous, cold and without compassion. I do not recommend this doctor, as she has no bedside manner, and I would rather pay out of pocket than see her or get advice from her.

Arrogant and condescending. Had the gall to make a psych diagnosis and then get snippy when i pointed out she was not qualified to make that assumption after just a ten minute conversation in which she put words in my mouth and was massively condescending. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that is respectful and doesn’t make diagnoses they are unqualified to make.

Forget it. She had no idea of what happened to me and her diagnosis was ridiculous. Not an exaggeration!

She was absolutely outstanding! By the end of my session with her I could have believe it was a psych appt because she listened and responded to me so well & open. I liked her a lot! Too bad she’s a specialist & couldn’t be my primary ): She has an awesome bedside manner & knows her stuff !

Suffered w/migraines for years. Switched from<15 yrs w/Loma Linda to Kaiser. Saw Dr. Rhee once. She prescribed some RX but told me to try B2 & Magnesium daily & if I felt the onset of a migraine to take another Magnesium and Naproxen up to 3 times a day. I went from 3-4 migraines a week to 12 for all of 2014. 8 in 2015. 5 in 2016 and only 2 so far 2017. So many RXs for years even getting occipital nerve block injections giving me a 2 week break but then making them worse! She's my Saint!

Came to see this doctor after suffering the first seizure of my life (grand-mal). The moment I walked in&started explaining my story, I was spoken to in the most demeaning manner I've ever experienced by any medical professional. Demeanor aside, her professional option was that due to the fact that I do not drink or take drugs other than weed, there was no doubt in her mind weed was the cause. Also demanded to know what i was hiding? don't trust a word she says she doesn't listen to her patients

When asked for a referral for Botox to treat migraines, Dr. Rhee suggested that I take Propranolol. She said that its purpose was to decrease high blood pressure but that it has also successful in treating migraines. I then explained that my blood pressure is normally low and, therefore, did not think that Propranolol was suitable for me. Dr. Rhee replied, I am not here to argue with you. In distress, I told her to add the drug. I have serious concerns about Dr. Rhee's medical advice.
