Very poor bedside manner, exorbitant fee
Dr Allman saw me in the Santa Rosa ER for no more than 5 minutes, and he had an unpleasant bedside manner. I was charged $422 on top of what my insurance already covered. (This doesn't even get included in the ER's exorbitant facility fee.) I was in a lot of pain and the experience I had with this doctor left a bad taste in the mouth. It doesn't take much to show some compassion, and he couldn't or wouldn't do that.

My daughter went in last night with a covid-19 positive at home test and was having difficulty breathing, so we chose to go to the atmore er location ... Bad idea. He told her one she isn't sick and two that there was no way she could have covid-19 twice (this will be her second time ) she had her 1st case in June of 2020 it's now Sept 2 2021 he sent her on her way no test told her go home take zinc and ride out whatever the problem is ... This man should not be working in this field if he ignores symptoms and dismisses patients I will be filling a full report ... As of 9/2/21 all 4 of my children have tested positive .

I do NOT recommend going to see this doctor in Andalusia or Troy. If he is in the ER, go somewhere else.

This man obviously hates his job. He has absolutely no compassion. Don't waste your time going to see him if you are sick.
