Dr Been preformed total knee replacement on both knees at different times. Minimal scaring. He was totally professional, very respectful and answered all my questions. He is very serious about his profession. I would refer my family to him.

I have had Dr. Been for knee replacement, hip replacement, broken elbow, and broken hip. Would not have anyone else. He cares about his patients.

He listens to you as a patient and i've always felt better after his care.

i have been a patient of Dr. Been since 2007. he has always taken great care of me, explained everything i asked questions about, kept me informed about new approaches to my bone health. i really appreciate him.

Didn't x-ray my knee in either of the two times I saw him and "assumed" my fracture was healed. I was told there was nothing into be done for me and to "use" my knee. He gave me a steroid shot which I should not have had with a fracture. I learned 4 weeks later at another doctor's office that I indeed still had a fractured knee. I had to wait 2 more months for the steroids to clear before I could get a PRP treatment.

Both knees replaced years ago, don't have any pain, works great, forgot I ever had surgery!

you have the worst staff ever. I can't have my surgery because your staff never told me about the covid-19 test. I can't put anything up my nose. Thanks a lot, I hope this happens to your staff. Leonard Ice

Very good doctor. Explains things thoroughly. He done my knee replacement, carpal tunnel, and trigger finger. He also done wife's shoulder surgery. Has a good staff.

Dr. Been has done surgery on me & my husband. I would not trust anyone else to work on us. He is very patient, listens, knows what he is doing & such good bedside manners. I usually have no trouble getting in to see him. Office staff is great also. I would recommend him to anyone.

I’ve had multiple surgeries (knee, elbow, etc) with Dr Been and all have been outstanding because he thoroughly explains everything and follows up during/after PT. He’s approachable and easy to talk to. Like a lot of Dr.’s he is very busy and sometimes the wait times in his office are long but that is not a reflection of his medical capabilities.

Our son broke his ankle. Dr. Been was very helpful in getting our son in quickly to be evaluated. He performed surgery on him and the whole process went incredibly smoothly. We would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

1st visit: About to ask a quest., JB interrupts & states" U can waste both r time with questions or I can tell u what you need to know." I made the appointment, appropriated time in my schedule, so it was JB who considered his time wasted by quest. JB's statement manifests arrogance, condescending attitude, narcism, disdain, & lack of self awareness Google Search provided resources for the info I sought.

Dr Bean took care of my son’s broken clavicle through surgery. He was caring, concerned and kind. I like him a lot

dr. been has done 5 surgeries on me and they have turned out great. i have no complaints at all. if you are someone who is willing to do your part, i will assure you he will do his part . i would not recommend anyone who will not do their part or that needs to be babied or looking for a check to see this dr. from what i have learned he likes patience that is willing to try. i recommended 2 cry baby patients to him and it did not go well and i will try to watch who i recommend to him.

Dr Been is the best in his field. He just did my 3rd surgery. Wouldn't have it any other way.

The whole time I was there, I saw him about 10 minutes out of 2 hours, It was like get em in and get em out! Didn't want to answer my questions.

was told knee just fine results show everything better than normal for my age BUT continue to have knee pain even more pain i have had this knee almost 59 yrs i know when something is wrong and when something hurts going to bowling green ky for another dr and opinion very discouraging when you know something needs repair and dr says nothing wrong, im not one to go to drs. only been 3 times in last thirty plus yrs, once for herenia and once for RK eye surgery and now my knee injury i did at work
