So I had severe arthritis in one knee. He said the other knee was similar and would soon start hurting, which it did. He seemed impatient and short with me. When I went to a follow up and brought paperwork for a handicap tag - he walked away saying, he wanted me to walk more, not less, and no, we don’t do that- almost angry that I’d asked.I never was made to feel welcome and what’s with the attitude? I was a professional- a teacher with over 30 years of standing and commuting with heavy bags- and I felt very hurt by this. How could I ever go back? Maybe my insurance didn’t pay enough because guess who is t providing services anymore?

I had both acl and meniscus repaired in both of my knees about two years apart. He took the time and was always timely in my diagnosis and my surgeries. He is one of the best drs and hopefully after this last repair which happened last week I won’t have to go back for anymore repairs. He has checked on me several times and is always super helpful with any questions I have.

Dr. Charen gave me an injection into my knee. It feels so much better!!!Friendly doctor and staff.

Dr Charen did surgical repair for my torn lateral and medial meniscus in the right knee. He is providing good support and advice during the recovery process.

Dr. Charen has great bedside manners and took the time to explain things thoroughly. He followed up with me, even on a Saturday. These things are PRICELESS!!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Charen for over ten years. He has helped me manage osteoarthritis of my knees. He recently did a full replacement of my right knee. I couldn’t be happier with the results! The scar is minimal and I have resumed all activities with no pain. Thanks doc!

Great doctor with a great bedside manner. I have been seen by him a few times for knee issues and it has always been a great experience.

Minimal wait time upon arrival and check in. Dr Charen listened, then discussed with my input as to resolving my knee pain. BAM! Was feeling much better the next day after treatment. Have visited Orthopedic Assoc several times through the past 10 yrs and never had any issues.

Second knee surgery with Dr. Charen (once per knee) in two and a half years. Outstanding doctor and staff at the surgical center. I was well taken care of. Questions were answered, and instructions clearly given. While the surgery was just recent, I have confidence that it will be as successful as the other one. I live an hour away from the office and for my family and me, it has always been worthwhile to come to see Dr. Charen for care.

The visit was very good as usual, attended to promptly, had a healthy discussion with Dr Charen, on X-ray results.

Office is well run, staff is friendly to patients. Drs are all top notch in their field. Dr. Charen was able to quickly diagnose my problem and gave me good advice for dealing with it.

DR. CHAREN WAS GREAT HE ASKED A LOT OF QUESTIONS AND DID A THOUROUGH EXAMINATION. HE ALSO ORERED A TEST TO DETERMINE THE RESULT OF HIS EXAM. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMEND DR. CHAREN TO ANY OTHER PATIENT
