Dr. Jeffrey Chester, DO

I grew up on the East Coast, with a father as a doc. Albeit there is a bunch of paperwork to do, his office got back to me immediately. I somehow survived IV drug use, and suboxone saved me. I had a terrible situation where my past doctor could not prescribe my meds. Those who left negative reviews are probably pain med seeking, those days are over. Dr Chester has all the tools for change and sobriety. By far one of the best doctors I have ever had in my lifetime (I have dealt with many) and is smart and wants to help. If you are trying to pull one over on him, he is too smart for that. If you are helpless and addicted, be honest and ask for help.all the help in the world is here. Work 20+hrs/week in Maui and get the best insurance in US. $7 copay for meds that used to cost me $450/mo. I have buried too many friends and I’m in my early 30s.Choose life, choose Dr. Chester and don’t BS yourself, I did it for many years and somehow came out alive. Be grateful this guy is a blessing!

Dr Chester is simply amazing with his osteopathic manipulations and cortisone injections. Until I started seeing Dr Chester, I have never experienced relief from cortisone shots. Dr Chester is able to accurately and quickly locate the trigger spots, thus making the shot effective. Additionally he is incredibly skillful with his osteopathic manipulations. Together these are two great tools to help reduce pain.

Dr. Chester is a wonderful, intelligent doctor who TRULY cares about his patients total welfare. I can talk to him about any of my problems and he has amazing insight and helpful recommendations and resources to help me in everything that challenges me. He doesn't just turn to medications.......quite the contrary, he uses a multitude of resources.........literature, pamphlets......even apps to help his patients. He's an aggravating mix of brusque and disinterested, focused entirely on his pet cause of no smoking and aside from his office staff being unreachable 9 out of 10 times, they threatened me with fees for their mistakes, and bungled my insurance information

Probably one of the most knowledgeable, understandable Doctors I worked with. He will listen to you and work with you in any way he can. His staff is very courteous and understanding as well. I highly recommend scheduling a visit with his office. Great Pain Management Specialist. They are also very attentive and respond with emails and phone call follow-ups the same day. Once again, I have lived in many places and Dr.Chester is by far the most understanding and knowledgeable Dr. around!

My experience with Dr Chester feels very similar to the experience of being rescued by the Coast Guard when one's vessel has gotten lost in the Doldrums after having drifted far away from it's mooring; caught in a terrible storm, & sharks have eaten some of the deck hands & my first mate; the vessel is no longer sea worthy. Dr Chester is like a Coast Guard Helicopter.

He runs a family run business with his wife running the back office. When I needed to call the office about business issues i was not Allowed to call and my call was not returned for a month causing me significant money. Finally, I received a return call and it was clearly apparent nothing had been followed up on. IN fact his wife said my insurance company was closed because they were in the west coast Far from the truth. They have extended hours and stay open until 7pm our time. More to come
