Dr. Jeffrey Desantis, DPM

My podiatrist in Atlanta knew Dr. DeSantis personally and when I asked for a referral when I moved here, I saw him. I had a major issue with Plantar Fascitis that required surgery. He doesn’t rush anyone into surgery and approached your issue cautiously. After the surgery I had a small bone that broke away that was not related to the first problem. He really cared about what I was going through. Did the X-rays, MRI and yes another short surgery. He came to see me in the recovery room, showed the piece of small bone that was causing the problem and got me on my feet again. His staff are so nice and kind. Dr. DeSantis is an outgoing, get the job done kind of guy. The person saying he was rude is so off base. Let me tell you if you need an injection in your foot (not pleasant) he is top notch and skilled in making it as painless as possible. He is Top Doc for me when it comes to foot care.

He’s in and out and doesn’t listen to you. I would highly discourage going to him. Very rude and arrogant.

My physical therapist referred me to Dr. Desantis last January, because I had a horrible experience with another podiatrist (not with this group). My medical situation was literally an emergency. I had a bunion surgery that was not only done incorrectly, but also developed an abscess and dead tissue on the top of my foot. Dr. Desantis, coordinated everything quickly so I get the proper care I needed due to the circumstances. He was assertive, caring, and very professional.

Dr. Desantis talks fast, gets the job done in lightning speed. After consultation, he removed my toe nail. I walked out with no pain and a big blue toe (blue bandage wrapping). Dr. D was recommended by Dr. Dore, who is great. PS Cinnamon really cares and is a real asset. GG
