Amazing results/ great staff and post op care
Three weeks ago I went to Dr. Eaton for Moh‘s surgery to remove the basil cell skin cancer above my upper lip. I originally chose him to do the surgery because he trains dermatologists on how to do the procedure. He and his team were friendly, professional and very kind….. but the reason I am writing this review is because of my results three weeks post op. You can barely tell there is a scar and it looks fantastic. I can not recommend this surgeon highly enough,.

I’m sure Dr. Eaton is a fantastic doctor or my dermatologist would not have referred me to him for mohs micrographic surgery to remove a cancerous growth from my face. However, I am unable to use his services because his practice doesn’t accept TriCare unless it’s secondary to Medicare. This, in and of itself, is disappointing in San Diego, a city with a massive military and military families presence. But more frustrating is that his office staff scheduled a consult for me without advising that they would not accept my insurance (TriCare.) I wasted two weeks to see him, as well as a 20 min drive both directions.

I had a skin cancer that needed to be removed near my upper lip. I needed Mohs surgery. Dr Eaton was patience and meticulous to be sure he got the skin cancer that went into my top lip and above. He used his plastic surgery to match the stitches to the lip line and follow the pucker crease leaving a great result. Its only been about a month and it already looks almost not noticable. My lip looks normal and the reddish line of a slight scar above will fade and is not noticable. I'm happy with the result and it could have been a lot worse. He did a great job.

I felt Dr. Eaton did not explain what he was going to do with prior explanation. He stuck an endoscope up my nose with no prior warning and I was schocked. I was billed an inordinate amount for a diagnostic procedure that he didn’t explain or ask me to sign any consent paperwork. I hear he is great with mohs repair but I would pass on the sinuses.

Dr. Eaton performed Mohs surgery on me, and much to my delight, did a wonderful job while making the experience comfortable and enjoyable. His staff went out of their way to see that I was in a pleasant environment and attended to my every need. I found Dr. Eaton to be extremely knowledgeable and personable. Even though I was having a tumor extracted in increments, and my scalp was stretched and stitched, there was never any pain! Thank you Dr. Eaton and staff!!

Dr Jeffrey eaton Needs to practice more, he said he has over 10+ experience but he ruined my face. The results I got after the surgery is horrible. He seems to be more about money. I would advise him to be more truthful.

Dr. Eaton did a terrible MOHs surgery on me, leaving me very badly scarred. He claims in his online write-up to be a plastic surgeon (trained) but no plastic surgeon would have done such a terrible job.
