Inconsiderate doc with unusual billing practices
Dr. Glaser talks a lot, and it’s hard to get your questions answered. He talks quite a bit about how bad health insurance companies are (I agree but can we focus on my problem?). In all this talking, he contradicts himself , and I left every appointment thinking, “wait, first he said this about my condition and treatment, then he said something else, then something else..which is it?”At one appointment, I had a painful procedure and during that procedure, he snapped at me for how I was sitting. The first time I went to his office I was told to leave my credit card on file. I refused. What if suddenly get charged $1000s and I haven’t budgeted for it? The next time I went in, I was forced to put a credit card down and when I asked why, I got a snotty, “It’s our policy” response from his front office staff. Sure enough, I was charged almost $500 for a procedure he told me would be covered. None of my pain issues were resolved, I didn’t like how I was treated, and I won’t be go back

My Sciatica is cured because of Dr. Glaser!
He has compassion for his patients. My sciatic pain was off the charts! Instead of throwing a bunch of pills he recommended epidurals. They never worked in the past but I thought it can’t hurt to try. I got 3 and as God as my witness they worked! It was painless and his technique and where he put the epidural site was perfect and I am pain free for the first time in a year! He is the BEST! He also is the best dressed Doctor I’ve ever seen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! All my Best,Jennifer Sgambati

Why won't pharmacies fill his prescriptions?
Abrupt. Rude. Mercilessly overbooks his calendar. But the weirdest part was that he prescribed me a painkiller (for horrible sciatica) but told me the only pharmacy who would fill his script was the one in his office building. I asked why and he said 'because they know me.' What is up with that?

Got too big for his britches
Went to him in 2018 about neck pain. Got in right away, got cortisone shot. Problem solved. In 2022, waited a month for appointment for pain on right side, both extremities. Would only allow me to tell him about leg, not arm which turned out to be the bigger problem (eventual surgery.) Would need another appointment, with another month wait, to talk to me about the arm. What kind of pain doctor refuses to let you tell him about your pain? Wouldn't these be related issues that, duh, might affect the diagnosis? For leg, did nothing. Sent me for MRI of leg and PT for leg. Useless. I assume this "I'll only talk to you about one body part" is driven by greed. I went to a different doctor. Won't go back to Glaser and you shouldn't either.

After four years of chronic nerve pain and a highly limited quality of life, Dr. Glaser’s assessment and implantation of a spinal cord stimulator has allowed me to return to traveling, going to sporting events, and increased mobility. Without the spinal cord stimulator I was unable to sit at sporting events and travel was a miserable experience. Thanks to Dr. Glaser and his staff my quality of life has improved significantly.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Glaser for his treatment and his ability to explain everything that was wrong with my back and the best options available to reduce my pain. We ended up with a SCS that has brought my pain to a very tolerable level.

The epidural procedure went well, friendly personnel and efficient in every way. I would have liked to speak with Dr. Glaser after the procedure but I was told he went back into surgery. I wanted some confirmation from someone who was in the surgery operating room but I could not as no one was available.

My consult had more to do with managing pain after knee replacement surgery since I have fibromyalgia and my surgeon wanted me to consult with a pain management doctor prior to my surgery. Dr. Glaser took his time and explained the different options I have. I really felt that I had a doctor that listened and will be available to me should I need his expertise after my surgery.

De. Glaser is a kind, knowledgeable, and supportive doctor. He has been treating me for migraines and it has made a significant difference in my daily life. He does not dismiss the pain, the nausea, or sensitivity to light and sound. I can not be happier with his professionalism, care, and commitment. His staff is very friendly and helpful.
