Dr. Jeffrey Harbrecht, MD

Avoid OhioHealth and Dr. Harbrecht at all costs. It's big-money corporate healthcare at its worst. If you go there, expect to be given the run around and to walk away from your visit untreated and disappointed.

Dr. Harbrecht has been my urologist for about twelve years. During that time, he saved my life at least twice with his superior, skillful surgery. His diagnosis of problems is the most complete and structured I have received from almost any other physician. He states this diagnosis thoroughly in a way understandable by any patient. His feelings and concerns were obvious to me on every occasion. He "tells it like it is". He cares. I consider this practitioner to be "the best of the best. A rare treasure in the medical profession.

no compassion, rude

He got my husband in very quickly and scheduled his procedure within a week after no improvement with medication. Took time with us and listened to our concerns and questions. He eased our minds and we worried a lot less after he reviewed things with us. Wonderfully compassionate!

Developed abscess due to kidney infection. Hospital put a drain in and referred to Dr. H. Seen him 3 times in 3 weeks. Haven't removed drain. Haven't even LOOKED at drain site. Says referring to a radiologist who will remove. Huh? Now site is infected, but Dr. H won't see me. Called every day this week. Response: "We can't get the radiologist to call us back!" Have told them it's infected. Response: "If you don't hear from radiologist today call us tomorrow." Never experienced poorer care.

Did not catch my bladder cancer...kept telling blood in my urine was due to my age. Never investigated other possiblities. I had stage III bladder cancer and had blood in my urine for over two years. Lucky I changed doctors!
