Virginia Heart-Dr. Jackman
Dr. Jackman listened to my account of chest pain, examined me, prescribed an echocardiogram test, reviewed the results, and assured me that I had no heart problem. That was a reassuring assessment that relieved my concern. The chest pain that I experienced July 3 and 4 has gone away.

excellent and caring doctor
Dr. Jackman is very understanding when talking to you- He evaluates your tests and suggests ways to improve your health - He will not chastise if you don’t follow through with everything- pleasant demeanor, full of new ideas and ways to improve your heart health!

Dr. Jackman comes across like a smart and interested medical scientist, which of course he is. He gave me a thorough cardio review and expressed interest in my sporting activities and medicines prescribed by other physicians and amplified some of my use, very good and very important. Thank you and I hope that this reaches you as I had lost my email follow up from the Doctor.

Expert Care
It seems increasingly hard to find a doctor/practice that spends enough time to listen to you, to answer your questions, and to explain procedures. Dr. Jackman was exceptional. First, I felt listened to and treated with compassion. Second, he clearly explained my options and his recommendation. Third, he took the time to ask if I had questions and to answer them. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jackman without hesitation.

I am very happy with Dr. Jackman. He treats me, and I presume other patients, with respect, though he definitely not a hand-holder. He is direct, upfront, and honest. He takes the time to explain and listens to questions. He has a broadly ironic sense of humor He will tell you the TRUTH, even though you may not want to hear it. Although some might disagree, I like this quality in a doctor who has my life in his hands. Nothing much phases him. I happily trust Dr. Jackman.

Took my mom to see Dr. Jackman because I did not feel like her primary care doctor was managing her blood pressure well. There was little to no wait time to be taken in the back and doctor came in right after nurse did ekg. Dr. Jackman and staff were all friendly and explained everything throughly. I am now confident my mom is taking the proper medications and is in good hands.

Indifference to my mothers health put her at risk in many ways. Lots of fast talk and cattle shuffling of patients here. Jackman couldn't care less about his patients and that can and will get in the way of good and safe health care. Think twice about choosing him for such an important role as your cardiologist.
