Had laser surgery on both eyes to reduce eye pressure. Previously had a different laser surgery to reduce eye pressure. Previous surgery apparently did not work (although last office visit readings were good) and skeptical that this surgery will work. My opinion is they are just looking to make money off the laser. Lack of consistency in readings and they always say "well numbers can go up or down..." If this doesn't work I won't go back.

Dr. Kay is a very competent and caring doctor. Had two office calls, had to have laser surgery and I was very apprehensive and scared. It was a very quick procedure. I only have one eye and he was so very careful but professional and eased my anxiety very quickly. I recommend Dr. Kay and his staff to anyone that needs to have something done with glaucoma as you will get professional treatment and will not have to worry about the quality of treatment.

Dr. Kay is a wonderful doctor. My son was up all night holding his eye open from pressure and pain. We were desperate to find a doctor to help give him some relief and help us with this brand new condition (my son's regular eye doctor was out of town.) We found Dr. Kay online and gave him a call outside of office hours. We were amazed when he personally answered the emergency line. He was in Tucson and drove up to the valley that morning to see my son as a New Patient and help stabilize him.

I have glaucoma and blind in one eye. I need to make sure I see an Opthamologist. I moved here 1-1/2 yrs ago from Wa.state and my Dr there recommended Dr Kay. My first appt 1-1/2 yrs ago with Dr Kay was brief, 5 min.sat me down to a TV for glaucoma. ??? His DO Dr. Flint is the only one who sees me. She only checks pressures one time, (s/b at least 2 or 3).. is rude, brags how she is in charge of the office when he is away and how great she is ..she is only a DO!! I have NO FAITH in this office

Very professional surgeon. Communication was superior as to what surgery he was going to perform and the expected results. His staff followed in his shadow. Communication was constant on each visit as to my progress. Excellent results as I expected. Recommend highly.

If you enjoy spending your entire day waiting at an office, then this is the place or you. Dr. Kay has no problem making you wait 3 to 4 hours to be seen. Also doesn't seem to mind that it is very inconvenient to not except credit/debit cards because he might lose a little revenue. After his first visit with you, he then dumps you on his colleague who by the way is only a optometrist, who has no problem letting you know how great she is.

I'v been treated by Dr. Kay for over 10 years for glaucoma, after cataract and retinal surgeries with complications. The care and dedication of Dr Kay and his staff have kept my glaucoma under control, which I feel is amazing, considering all my eyes have been though. He takes the time to answer your questions throughly, and explains your condition and treatment plan well. I highly recommend this physician and his staff.

dr kay checked my eyes and told me that he wanted to do lazer surgery on my left eye to try and save the vision and relieve the pressure, instead when I went in to have the laser done he did the right eye which is the bad one.now that he did the wrong eye I have lost all vision in my right eye,we are seriously considering doing a lawsuit for malpractice because befor he did my right eye,I could see a little, now I am totally blind in my rt eye.he is a poor excuse for a doctor!

Kay treated my dad for about 12 years for glaucoma. In the past year my fathers pressure was on the rise and all Kay did was give him drops and say give them time to work come back in a few months. My dad started getting double vision and had to stop driving. Dr Kay said it is all part of what is happening. Keep taking drops he was NEVER around every time my dad had an appointment. He would see Flint WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS DOING. After months of NEGLECT MY DAD IS BLIND!!! Get out
