I was very thorough when making the appointment. He had no idea why we (my daughter and I) were there, and had no interest in listening to anything I said. His only interest was in dismissing my concerns, setting up psychotherapy and taking over the administration of drug prescription from the primary physician. I feel the practice "Aspen Day Treatment" is nothing more than a pharmaceutical dispensary and an income generator for the physicians.

Dr Lafferman has failed on the most basic level of doctor-patient interaction--establishing trust and doing no harm. He absolutely did not see the problem right in front of him and his response was most impersonal disrespectful of basic human dignity.
