I could not have chosen a more competent, dedicated and friendly doctor than Dr. Lyman when it came to my total knee replacements for both of my knees after being hit by a drunk driver in which I was told I would never walk again. Dr. Lyman, who specializes in knees and sports injuries, did a magnificent job and I highly recommend him. I was up and walking shortly after surgery and wild horses could not keep me down! I am post-op a few years and I absolutely love my new knees! I would never know they are not my own knees...they work easily with absolutely NO pain or swelling at all and there is literally nothing I cannot do or am limited in doing! LOVE my new knees and the freedom it has given me! Dr. Lyman has a saying...that “he knows knees”...Indeed he does! I would give him ‘all the stars in the universe’ for his service if only I could, because I have my LIFE back! Thank you and God bless you, Dr. Lyman! ??

I would highly recommend Dr. Lyman and his team. My son received the highest caliber of care and attention. From the scheduling desk to the post op PT, everything was handled professionally and with our needs in mind. Dr. Lyman has a wonderful bedside manner, listens and takes the time to explain his surgical strategy completely and clearly to his patients.

Currently 9 wks post-ACL reconstruction (hamstring graft) & meniscus repair done by Dr. Lyman. After doing a ton of research on knee specialists in the NW, I decided to drive 4 hours to have him check out my knee. Had been living on a torn ACL & meniscus for 2+ yrs. I had lots of questions, and I appreciated from his responses his conservative approach, his forthrightness, his kindness, and his communication. Being an anatomy nut, I was grateful that he walked through MRI images with me to show me what he saw. I walked away from consultation with utmost trust and confidence in Dr. Lyman's ability to execute my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair with great success. I scheduled my surgery for four months later (after hunting season). Surgery completed in Dec. 2019. I watched every minute of recording. Every aspect of surgery, from meniscus repair and partial meniscectomy, to the tendon harvesting and reinserting was phenomenal. Rehab's going great! Dr. Lyman's the real deal!

If you smoke or take narcotics forget about being treated. All you will get is a long lecture on your sins and how horrible you are. I left in tears and needless to say, I won’t be back.

There are too many positives to list and not one negative about the experience. After a year of carefull research chose Dr Lyman for a Mako 2 compartment PKR.. Honestly couldn't be happier 10 days post op. Going back to Canada tomorrow crutches in the trunk and zero regrets.. Trust Dr. L and his staff with your knee issues, you won't regret the decision either. Best advice is come to the surgery strong and ready to work post op. When Dr and patient give their best only good will come.

Wow! This Dr. is beyond great. I requested Dr. Lyman replace both my knees at the same time. He listened to me (not normal with most doctors today). No problems with surgery. Went home the next day. The work he did allowed me to proceed with physical therapy at a fairly rapid pace. 2 months into physical therapy, the physical therapists, felt I was 5 months post surgery. Already swimming, walking, and hiking. Looking forward to mountain climbing/hunting this summer/fall. 69 years young

Dr. Lyman is an extraordinary Surgeon. After years of knee problems I am on my way to a full recovery, thanks to Dr. Lyman. I have already recommended four neighbors and colleagues to Dr. Lyman; with the comment that there is no better Knee Specialist in the country! And his entire staff is exemplary!

I've had 2 previous surgeries and this is my first one by Dr.Lyman. my knee feels really well and this surgery has gone better than my others. my recovery time is also not that long. I know I will need a another type of procedure done in the future and I already plan on having him perform it. after my 3rd ACL was finished, I got a dvd copy of the procedure; so I thought that was pretty coo to watch
