Great caring doctor
The biggest difference between Dr Martin and the big offices that are run by low paid “medical assts” I use that term loosely. Dr Martin and his staff are knowledgeable, caring , polite and treat you with dignity. As a former patient of Advanced Derm . This is a wonderful change for the better. My biopsy’s were back in a week, not 4-6 weeks. Good thing for me because they were squamous cell. They referred me to a plastic surgeon immediately and not their own mohs lab because it’s on my face. Even the biopsy was painless. The Pa took his time with the numbing medication as to not hurt me any more than he had to. He and his team are fantastic and I highly recommend them.

Less than 5 minutes with doctor and expensive
Doctor was with me less than 5 minutes. Assistant actually removed skin tag and they said didn't look cancerous but recommended sending to lab. For some reason, (my insurance is FL Blue) the visit co-pay was $150 versus typical $40-$45. Lab co-pay turned out to be another $150. Unbelievable. Total billing was $3K to insurance and ended up $300 out of pocket. Procedure by the assistant took maybe 10 minutes and was cover with a band-aid. Beware of this guy.

Exceptional Dermatologist!!! Dr. Martin is a very personable, thorough and appropriately-conservative Dermatologist! I am a Dentist and have done intra-oral exams, oral biopsies and surgeries for many years. I leaned that too many practitioners tend to want to do surgical removal of questionable lesions (irregular spots, growths, etc) too quickly...and I had a previous, local Dermatologist that was that type of "surgery happy" physician. I do understand that a pathology report can show some irregular cells, but that does not always mean that surgery should be done immediately or even done at all. Fortunately, I spoke with some respected acquaintances who highly recommended Dr. Martin. After a few appointments, I quickly realized that Dr. Martin is truly an ethical practitioner that will only recommend a treatment that is really necessary, and I would certainly be comfortable with any of his suggestions. I give Dr. Jeffrey Martin my very highest of recommendations!

it was an easy visit and all went well, short wait time pleasant people to deal with. I was told at the pharmacy my ins. would not cover what he prescribed, so I did not get it. I don't know how dr. Martian found out that the co-pay for me was not affordable so I didn't get it but Dr. Martian paid for it himself and I was shocked when the drug store called and said for me to pick up my script free. THANKS, DR. MARTIAN
