If I could give him ZERO / 0 stars I would,
My insurance won’t cover my medication any longer, after speaking with them (Insurance company) they stated I could give Doctor Mason’s a call advising him to call a number that was provided to me by the insurance, all he needed to do was call and do an “appeal” , so my insurance can continue to cover my medication and not be out of pocket $1,200 plus…. I sent Doctor Mason’s office the number last week and was followed with a “A pre authorization had been sent”, after I explained it was an “appeal”, a week later and I received a call from Doctor Mason himself, left me a voicemail since I wasn’t able to answer, I called back and said I have to pay out of pocket, that he’ll leave a hard copy prescription so I can go buy my medication myself, after I explained about the “appeal” recommendation (by the insurance) he simply replied; I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT, THAT’S TOO MUCH WORK! , I was baffled by his response, I double checked with him so I can make sure I heard him / understood him correctly, and he’s replied was : YUP, I’M NOT GOING TO DO THAT, THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD ON THE PHONE AND IT’S JUST TOO MUCH WORK…… I simply thanked him and hung up….. recording of the conversation will be coming soon. Lack of professionalism at its fullest.
He’s not even my Doctor, Mrs. Stephanie Lee (WHICH SHE’S AMAZING! it’s my Doctor!)

I have been seeing Dr. Mason for over 20 years and he is a caring and concerned provider. He always listens to all of my concerns. Doctor Mason gives great professional medical advice and is very concerned about my well being. He is very supportive.
