Incomplete and inadequate testing and diagnosis
After this office visit, I went to the HSS Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC for a second opinion, and they remarked that there were things missed on my tests that were conducted at Princeton Orthopedic by Dr. Miller. These tests were very important, because it recommended surgery which if I had it performed at Princeton Orthopedic it wouldn't have solved the problem and would have required a second surgery assuming Princeton Orthopedic would have realized what they had originally missed. I ended up having the surgery at HSS in NYC.

Uninspired and uninspiring.not innovative
What stood out was the dirty bathroom. I felt that he saw a woman of a certain age and felt I should either get a wheelchair and sippy cup or set myself adrift on an iceberg. I am an active and vigorous person and I felt no interest or intention to get me back in action quickly. You might ask me again some other time, I’m annoyed at his lack of optimism. I felt the minute he saw a woman with grey in my hair it was over. Closed his mind.

Very professional and caring.
Asked probing questions and had you perform some physical movements to determine your range of motion and any associated discomfort. Ordered an MRI and explained the findings which aided in a strategy to determine treatment options.

Dr. Miller is the most dedicated and OUTSTANDING!!
I went back to Dr. Miller for a second opinion about the results of an MRI given by my local orthopedic doctor who told me there was nothing more she could do for my back and I should go to Physical Therapy. I had been going to Dr. Miller for many years previously and he always solved my problems. However, we moved about an hour away and I thought I should begin to use the local doctors. MY MISTAKE!! Because I was unsatisfied with the other doctors conclusion, I went to see Dr. Miller today. Took the MRI report that was reviewed by the first doctor and Dr. Miller saw fit to carefully review it, discovered an error, contacted the MRI confirmed the error, quickly CALLED ME to tell me NOT to go to the Physical Therapy that is scheduled for tomorrow. If it wasn't for Dr. Miller's appointment today I might be in very bad shape. He discovered a compression fracture of D12 and I need to wear a back brace and rest each day only getting up for short 10 minute walks. NO Physical Therapy

Great experience
Dr. Miller saw my “Senior” friend who was in a lot of pain. He put his mind at ease and ordered the appropriate tests and follow up MRIs. Dr. Miller seemed to really care about his patient and he took the time to ask about him personally. He prescribed pain meds in the interim so that my friend could be rid of some of his pain and the anxiety that goes along with it. We would definitely recommend Dr. Miller to anyone who has back issues and the debilitating pain that goes along with it.
