Dr. Jeffrey Morrison, DO

I really can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Morrison and his staff! It was my first visit here.Dr. Morrison was kind, patient, thoughtful, and considerate as he discussed options for my medical condition. He was thorough and informative in his explanations. He took my feelings into consideration. I felt very cared for by Dr. Morrison and his staff.. They were all very attentive and knowledgeable.The front desk was helpful and nice.Carolyn P.

Awful. He decided I needed surgery before I ever met with him, never mentioned any other options even if only to explain why they weren't viable. He performed an excruciating biopsy in his office that I thought was just a pap smear. Told me about the surgery that " everything will be done through the abdomen" yelled at me 5 minutes before surgery because I was afraid. Then I learned after the surgery there had been at least three instruments put in me plus has done a cystoscopy. If I'd been told the truth I never would have had the surgery, but then he wouldn't have gotten paid for it. I feel he was extra rough during the procedure judging by how much pain all of It's been almost a year and I still have pain and also being treated for medical PTSD because of what he did to me and how I was treated in addition to all my physical difficulties from the surgery. I'm far sicker from the surgery HE decided I had to have than any condition I sought help for made me.

I had Dr. Morrison as an OBGYN for a little bit now and have become more and more disappointed with how he treats me as a patient. I have been trying to get pregnant for 5+ years now, but was only most recently able to attain healthcare to figure out my options. I have had several appointments with him & talked with him through email, but he always forgets the fact that I'm trying to get pregnant & have an irregular menstrual cycle. Perhaps he has too many patients and is beginning to blend all of the faces together. He is a nice guy, but his empathy is quite lackluster. He performed surgery on me and didn't remember me afterward. He still asked me questions as if I were a new patient, each time. If you're just simply looking for an OBGYN, he'll do fine. But, if you want someone to tend to your concerns and care about what's going on with you, I strongly suggest choosing someone else.

I appreciated how much time he spent to sit down and answer my questions regarding delivering in the time of COVID. He was very honest with me and made me feel like I was being heard.

This was my first encounter with Dr. Morrison. I have been experiencing menstruation issues and decided to go straight to an OBGYN instead of my PCP. The nurse was nice and professional, however Dr. Morrison really rushed through my visit. I didn’t really get a chance to explain what I’ve been dealing with. He conducted his exam and instructed me to leave a urine sample for a pregnancy test and left the room as soon as the exam was done. Once I left the sample and got my pregnancy test results the nurse said I was good to go. I still have concerns about my health as my family history includes bladder cancers, and kidney issues. Not sure if they’re related, but again Dr. Morrison didn’t give me ANY time to express my concerns. He instead tried to push birth control as an issue.

Dr. Morrison is the best OB GYN doctor in the area. He is always available to help you and answers all your questions. I trust him.

The first time I went to Dr. Morrison about my issue, I was embarrassed, but he made me feel comfortable and he did my surgery and all is well. He is very nice and respectful, I would definitely recommend this practice .

Dr Morrison is an excellent provider. I would not trade him for anyone. I have been seeing him for years. He is very personable. I feel like I can trust him. Very knowledgeable and explains his thoughts well. He is a great listener and he shows that he cares. He’s also VERY funny! His staff love him and I like his staff as well. Great team!!!

He is very knowledgeable, informative, professional and friendly. He was able to provide insight on matters that my other providers failed to inform me about. Would definitely recommend seeing this doctor.

Very personable and knowledgeable guy! This was my first time meeting him and he will be doing surgery on me in the next few days! He put me at ease and made me feel comfortable immediately.

My first office visit went well . My dr retired and I was referred to Morrison by a friend . Very nice and ales you feel at ease. Great nurse . Everyone seemed very polite and helpful .

He was persistent in recommending birth control especially IUD or having my tubes tied even though I mentioned to him several times that I did not have a great experience with IUD and that I did not wish to have anything surgically put inside or physically done to prevent pregnancy. Even after I told him several times that I was not interested he asked if I would sign the paper giving authorization for me to have my tubes tied just in case I changed my mind and I declined to sign anything . I believe that if there is no health risk factors for any reason that would jeopardize me from having a healthy child then I feel that my opinion should be respected and that I should not be further question into something that I do not want or believe in.

Thorough but quick visit. Respects your time as a patient.

Dr. Morrison was recommended to me about 3-4 years ago by my PCP and no matter where I move in Hampton Roads I will never replace him. Even if I move out of state I may just come up here for him and my PCP. There is no one like him. He’s comfortable and we’re always laughing and joking. No matter what he is honest and will always give you his honest opinion and all your options.
