The Best
Dr Nix and his team are the best when it comes to explaining conditions and treatment. He and his entire team of doctors make absolute sure all questions have been answered to the patients understanding. Dr Nix and his team are very knowledgeable when it comes to urology. The care and concern that he displayed during the care of my husband was that of a father and son. We highly recommend Dr Nix for all of your urology needs.

A Highly Professional & Competent Surgeon
Dr. Jeffery Nix is one the best robotic surgeons for prostate cancer in the state of Alabama. The Da Vinci SP (single port) machine is a game changer and Dr. Nix has lead the way with this innovative approach. There is absolutely no substitute for experience and “stick time” when it comes to this surgery. As an added bonus, Dr. Nix is very personable, he has a great bed side manner and is always willing to take the time to explain things or answer questions. I had a radical prostatectomy performed by Dr. Nix and his team at UAB ten months ago.

Very impressed with Dr Nix. This day and age when Doctors rush you through the appointment he made my wife and me feel like he had all the time in the world to review my MRI results and answered all our questions. Very professional with great bedside manner. So thankful to have him overseeing active surveillance for my prostate cancer. Highly recommend him.

Had an office visit and an MRI on the same day and everything was great. Was told by Dr. Nix that he would call me with results after 3-5 days. It has been 12 days and nobody from UAB has contacted me even after several request by email on the patient portal to Dr. Nix and the Urology Department. Staff has told me that they have left messages for him to call but i am still waiting for someone at UAB to initiate a call to me. I have called 6-8 times.
