Solved my Prostate problems
My prostate had become so swollen and clogged that I had to intermittently catharize myself twice a day. I had problems with urinating off and on for the last 40 years. Dr Parres solved this by an easy minor operation called a Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate TURP. I should have done it 40 years ago.

I've been a patient for many years and have always felt respected . The time spent with me is exceptional and any questions are thoroughly discussed. Any messages that I leave in the patient portal is attended within a reasonable allotted time. Dr Parres is an example of a wonderful doctor that more should aspire to become.

Quality Service
Dr. Parres explained the testing process and what I could expect. He also explained how the testing process had improved since the last time I had been to see him. He was confident the test would tell us everything he would need to know and what steps would be next. This did help decrease the anxiety that comes with these types of situations.

Kidney cancer
Dr. Parres thoroughly explained my kidney cancer surgery which he successfully performed a year and a half ago. At all of my follow up appointments, he has taken the time to answer questions and do all of the necessary tests to make sure I’m staying healthy. I feel very confident that Dr. Parres is taking excellent care of me.

Thoughts on Dr. Parres
I was referred to Dr Parres by my GP after an elevated PSA. Dr. Parres followed for a visit, tested, diagnosed prostate cancer, and operated successfully. I have continued to see him for 5 years, I find him to be knowledgeable, personable, and comfortable. Recently PSA levels again began to rise. Dr. Parres monitored for a couple months, ordered additional testing and body scans, and we identified that my prostate cancer had spread to another part of my body. We discussed two options and Dr. Parres recommended treatment at an advanced level. He completed the referral, I was seen a few days later, and am now in treatment. I appreciate his knowledge, his awareness, his personal, care - calling me back to say, " I've thought about you some more and believe this is the best option." I believe I was well advised and am being well cared for. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Parres is a good doctor, however, scheduling appointments is ridiculous. Husband released from hospital with catheter. Called his office 3 days later to have catheter removed. They couldn't get him in for 6 weeks. SIX WEEKS!!!
