Dr. Jeffrey Persico, DMD

I had a consultation with Dr Persico to get an exact amount I would have to pay for two molars to get pulled. I specifically asked the front desk person of my out of pocket costs after Delta Dental coverage and she stated around $50. A few weeks later I had the appointment to get the two molars pulled and right before going back to have it done they asked for my portion of the payment, $50.60, ok, no problem. Next thing I know I get a bill in the mail for $546. They said Delta Dental does not cover deep sedation/anesthesia. Well that was not clarified when asked right before having it done so I'm not ok paying it. Unacceptable!! When I called the office the girl hung up on me claiming I signed a form agreeing to an 'approximate' co-pay and own them $546 now. Very rude and not OK!!! False information given prior to surgery when speaking to staff. Don't go here if you don't have to.

This doctor is amazing. Highly skilled at what he does. You definitely will not regret going to him!

Several years ago, I had three implants done (first one and then a couple of years later, two) by Dr. Persico. I felt no pain and the experience was positive. Then, a couple of months ago, I had a benign tumor taken from inside my upper lip and again I felt no pain. Dr. Persico was friendly and he explained everything. I would recommend him highly!

Out of baseless fear I put this appointment off for a year. Had I known that it would be totally painless I would have done it long ago. I had a wisdom tooth and 3 molars removed in just 20 minutes with zero pain or discomfort. Even two days after the procedure I still have no pain. The oral surgeon and the staff were very caring, friendly and professional. Relatively expensive but the cost was still 20% less than one of those big dental centers that I visited. Dr Persico has very talented hands . After installing 3 titanium posts in my jaw bone for 3 broken teeth from an accident I felt zero pain during the removal of the shattered teeth or the installation of 3 posts in the different locations. He said my face might be a little swollen and might have,some pain I had neither. His skiled hands did minimal incisions for a quick recovery. Just had my two week followup and,all is,well ready to finish teeth with permanent crowns at my local dentist.

My dental work with Dr Persico spanned 2011 - 2013 for surgery and implant. My case was not an easy one and Dr. Persico was excellent in his care, skill, patience, and kindness. I would recommend him and his staff at Okemos to anyone.
