Worst Pain Management Physician Out Of 37-years
I have a rare painful muscle condition called Spasmodic Torticollis aka Cervical Dystonia. I saw Dr. Wasserman for over a year, & he did nothing other than belittle me or say I wanted pain meds. I brought documents from my Movement Neurologist, but he kept taking X-rays, MRIs, out-patient steroid injections. He doped me up on muscle relaxers. He was rude, arrogant and used his power when interacting with me. I worked in the transplant field, but I could not get out of bed, sleep, work, or even routinely shower; the pain was excruciating! If I cried then I was depressed. Pain doesn't care who you are, how much money you have, your age, whether it's Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Wednesday of next week. The pain was taking a toll on my marriage; the suffering was brutal, but pain affected my daughter who was advanced & she was often recognized for her achievements; her mom could never attend these once-in-lifetime events. Pain changes who you are forever! Thank you Dr. Wasserman!

I have been seeing Dr. Wasserman for 20+ years
I saw Dr. Wasserman for my regular monthly visit. I had a new MRI of my spine for him to review. He did so, and we reviewed what is now going on with my spine, and what he can do to help me manage the pain that is ongoing. We talked about the different ways I can do that, and what I want to do going forward.

I've seen Dr. Wasserman for about a year now and he's helped my back with injections that others could not diagnose. However, his partner, Dr. Lloyd (also too unknown to me) treated me for a while and seemed to disagree with some treatments Dr. Wasserman had in mind. Dr. Lloyd's assistant is awful. I dont remember her name but Ill call her Nurse Ratchet. He's very amiable so I don't get it. Both Dr.s are professional and I feel I made the right choice after going through about 6 alternatives.

Competente,eficiente,& great bedside manner.
I was referred to Dr. Wasserman by Dr. David Rosenstock the rheumatologist because of multiple health conditions that sucked the life out of me due to having excruciating pain 24/7. Wasserman is the most efficient, competent, effective pain management specialist I have seen to date. He has a very cordial bedside manner. Hopefully I can figure out this switching to pain management specialist soon. The doctor I have now is fine, he just doesn’t carry all the tools that Wasserman does. I’m spoiled.

Cannot get prescriptions filled
Previously seen by Dr. Aaron Lloyd who has not been available since Nov. 2021. My first visit with Dr. WASSERMAN was very rushed. He interrupted me, did not listen to me or let me ask questions. He argued with me about a procedure that is in my records. This very unprofessional practice is in chaos. Every single month I have to call multiple times to refill a prescription due to staff errors. I have been a patient for 10+ years. I have taken the same meds for years. It is a time consuming battle for me to get meds filled every month.

Dr. Wasserman is excellent! He always takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, answer all of my questions, and sincerely cares about my care. I’ve been beyond impressed with him and would highly recommend him. I’ve gone through spinal injections, as well as have had a spinal stimulator implant, and the results have been fantastic! Slowly but surely, I am getting more and more functionality and I’m truly grateful for Dr. Wasserman!

4 minutes ago-Edit Dr. Wasserman gave me knee and shoulder injections in 2018. I asked him, prior to the injections, if there would be an additional charge to me of any kind over and above my Medicare and supplemental Cigna policies. He positively stated, as did his staff at checkout, that the entire bill would be covered by Medicare and Cigna and that I would not be billed anything. I never received a bill from Dr. Wasserman for these treatments. However, I just received (15 months after the treatments) a letter from a collection agency stating I owe $2,659.14 for Wasserman's treatments. I am disputing and will not pay the alleged debt, but DO NOT USE DR. WASSERMAN FOR ANYTHING.

I'd leave a MINUS 5 if I could. Due to his total disregard for my situation & needs for a surgery on Mon, he couldn't be bothered to submit a RX on Thurs before. So I almost stopped breathing in recovery because of nurses need to do post op pain control. My husband had to call & beg for RX to b sent before I could go home post op. Then 4 days later he did the SAME THING. Couldn't be bothered to send in RX's prescribed in post op Thurs visit for the weekend. I WOULDN'T SEND MY DOG...MY WORST ENEMY TO HIM.

Dr. Wasserman is associated with the highly regarded Carrell Clinic in Dallas so it wasn't really a surprise that I found him to be a superb anesthesiologist. What was surprising is the amount of time he took to visit with me and my wife about a synovial cyst on my spine, how it will be treated and the best practices post-surgery/injections. Dr. Wasserman is as personable as he is professional and gave us complete confidence that my condition would be successfully treated. His staff in his office and those located at both surgery centers where I was treated is equally personable and professional. I strongly recommend Dr. Wasserman to anyone needing an anesthesiologist, particularly for back and spine-related complications.

Dr Wasserman has been an excellent doctor who has taken care of my grandma Velma Hornsby, sister, my wife, jacqulyn Scoggins & me for years! I’m able to function & remain active at work and play! His staff has been professional and knowledgeable in their work! As you can see I would & have referred him for care . Only drawback is over the years of transfer of offices to different locations , but if you receive great care then it is worth the travel

Dr. Wasserman has helped me more than any physician ever has w/ my degenerative arthritis, spondylolisthesis, & fibromyalgia. I've never heard of some of the procedures he's suggested & explained thoroughly, like rizotomy. Since he's performed both left & right cervical rizotomies, I've finally received the pain relief I've so desperately needed & now my quality of living has improved almost 100%! I can't thank him enough for that!

He does what he wants to and not what the Dr ordered leaving you to have repeated injections costing lots of money and dragging out pain. Totally unnecessary. Very hard to get someone to answer phone. Very cocky and knows it all np matter what you tell him.
