I'll never go back to him
I went to Dr. Witte when I injured my ankle after a fall on ice several years ago. I found him to be very uncaring. He noted that my MRI was unremarkable and basically blamed my problems being weight related. He had no desire to try and correctly diagnose my injury.

Dr witte has no interest in treating me or diagnosing me. When he is blatantly wrong he does not say so. He did not like me having any kind of knowledge, about my studies or results. He lied to my face more than once. I told him that the readings showed this or that...or that they spelled out FRACTURE, and he continued to say he couldn’t explain my pain. He is unsafe. Please read this and don’t go to him. I hope others don’t go through what I did.

He wasn't particularly caring or considerate when he was diagnosing my knee (torn ligaments). He just pushed and moved around my knee without any warning (so painful!!!). He wouldn't care to explain much about my condition or treatment plan, just told to get MRI done and left. Didn't even ask if I had any question!

Dr. Witte ruined my wifes quality of life. She went in for surgery and came out 100% disabled. Due to his mis-diagnosis in reading a simple xray, he had her walking on a broken foot. He kept saying the more you walk on it the better it will get. As a result of his incompetence and 14 surgeries (by different professionals) later to fix his screw up, my wife has an implanted spinal cord stimulator, CRPS/RSD, disfigured foot and can no longer perform the duties of a registered nurse.

I would not recommend him for foot problems even though he specializes in feet. His surgery made my toe worse. He also has no patience to explain correctly what is going on. Now going to an excellent podiatrist who is helping me.
