This doctor would not see me because he didn't perform the surgery. Rude staff on phone. Don't come here for medical help

The worst visit with a Dr I have ever had. He was completely rude and disrespectful. Assumed I was trying to get out of work because I’m Black. I have worked for 13 years straight. Did not want to even examine me. Even though my mri showed a tear and arthritis.

Each time I've visited his office, most have been friendly and professional. Dr. has taken time with me; answered questions. Found swelling on my 1st post-op. visit-aspirated my knee and the problem was taken care of. Knowledgeable surgeon...I'm happy I changed doctors! He made a plan and we moved-on! I'm walking better than I have in 6 months!

I completely tore my ACL and medial meniscus. The report was sent to Dr.Z immediately. It took about a month to get in for the first visit. During that month bloodclots developed and traveled to my lungs, Which delayes surgery. I'm still several months away from the operation, but after reviewing the MRI and bloodclot situation he recommended i get a 2nd opinion, and didn't seem very confident he could repair it. I'll be getting that 2nd opinion like he suggested. Good guy, but lacks confidence.

Visited Dr. Zacharias in February for severe knee pain. Over 3 mos later, wasted time, peace of mind, physical therapy and money, no improvement. After X-rays, MRI and therapy, folllowed up in March to try and discuss with him my concerns and frustration. Even after he examined me again, saw I was still in pain he simply referred me to a pain specialist and dismissed me. Sought 2nd opinion, had surgery in May and was pain free immediately!! Dr. Z...check your ego & listen to your patient!

I have been seeing Dr. Zacharias for almost 15 years for my knee (and more recently shoulder). He's done my ACL and injections and has helped me thru painful times with the utmost respect and outstanding patient care. He is informative and genuinely seems to care about his patients. His most recent office staff is pleasant and scheduling is quick and appointments are fast. Top notch.

Dr. Zacharias was the worst and most arrogant Doctor I have ever seen in my life. I went to him for chronic knee pain for a knee that has been surgically repaired twice and all he said was you don't have any pain and printed some exercises for you. My knee is still in pain and is now locking up.
