Extremely caring, kind, accessible and responsive
Dr. Byrne has been my primary care doc for almost 5 years. He builds great relationships, listens very well to my needs and concerns, and acts as both an expert and a thought partner. For a couple of obscure health problems, Dr. Byrne has conducted research well beyond my expectations. This past year, an MRI he ordered revealed, unexpectedly, a really serious, even life-threatening condition. Dr. Byrne called me immediately and did everything possible to get me to the right specialists super quickly. He followed my case closely and advised me, as he would a friend or relative, how to interpret the specialists' findings and advice, and how to best advocate for my own care. I think he's terrific.

Outstanding. Listens, discusses, gives options if any, then acts. Holding your hand or patting your head not so much. But he's my choice.

Awful
Accused me of going to er telling them that he was incompetent when I went for adverse medicine reaction, he stood in front of the door yelling at me and continued after I told him not to talk to me like that, his nurse is also a willing participant in his behavior and inaccurate record keeping, you can leave one medical facility where they're ready to call ambulance due to extremely high BP and go to his office and your BP be normal, beware, trusting him and his nurse could put you in grave danger

Always very kind, thorough and takes his time with patients to make sure he gets a clear picture of their health. Hands down the best primary care doctor I've ever had.

Dr Byrne was the rudest doctor I have ever had. He had no concern about my condition, wanted to get in and out, very unprofessional and made me cry when I left. I am shocked how I was spoken to. Centura has probably had problems with him before and have sent him to the office in Idaho springs because he can’t get enough clients down the hill. He is NOT an MD. He did not use differential diagnosis. Find someone else this guy does not have enough experience. Not Tyler Byrne

I saw Doctor Byrne to follow-up for a thyroid issue. I asked him if he could try to get me a colonoscopy referral so I can make sure there is nothing wrong with my lower intestines. As I have had Crohn's in the past (now in remission) I wanted to make sure I had a healthy colon. He asked if I needed a consultation with a specialist, I said no, I just wanted the results. I got a call the next day from a hospital telling me I had to have a consultation. I was confused. I sent Dr. Byrne an email asking why he hadn't gotten me a referral for a screening. I was completely unaware that I couldn't have a screening colonoscopy and that it had to be diagnostic colonoscopy. His reply was extremely defensive as though I was accusatory rather than questioning and then insinuated that I was wanting to commit insurance fraud to save money and that he would take no part in it. He called into question my integrity. I would NEVER do such a thing.

Terrible. He demonizrd me for taking 0.5 mg of lorazepam sparingly. I got off opiods myself but is sending me to a pain clinic!!!!!He did not take the time to listen, empathize, or check the PDMP to confuse rm I do NOT able se druhs. Been to pain doctors for years and am stabilized on Na prosyn and this little dose of lorazepam. I felt like a criminal abd now I have to see another pain doctor. He is opinions nat d, controlling, arrogant, and does not make good medical decisions. I am a nurse for 40 years, and have rarely seen such a pompous incompetent. H vth nos he is God. Found out today by many people in our small community that many will find another doctor who is competent. What I was told was that women find him very condescending.

This is far and away the most dysfunctional, incompetent, unpleasant office and staff I have ever come across. Dr. Byrne is absolutely the most arrogant, uncaring unthorough Dr I have ever come across. He has a terrible bedside manner and did not schedule adequate time for an initial exam. He didn't complete a full history or ask appropriate questions on my initial visit. He said he did not have time to finish the history or examine me, draw bloods or answer any questions. I would have to come back! I spent significantly more time filling out paperwork than I got on our visit. Of the little we covered he was insistent I change medications to something I used to take but did not work. He promised to give me a specialist referral but was in such a rush to leave he forgot. His office then over-billed the insurance, so I am forced to report him for healthcare fraud. I see now why he has so many schedule openings and the waiting room was empty.

They charged us $445 dollars for a new patient visit. We were there for 10 minutes but they tacked on a plus 45 minute extra charge. They lied and said we were there for over 45 minutes with the doctor when it was ten.
