Takes time to listen
Dr. Mathew and his PA were very thorough and spent a long time listening to my symptoms and past medical history. They discussed the best plan of action that was right for me. I wasn't just given 15 minutes and a prescription. I am thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend Dr. Mathew.

Definitely Recommend!
I saw Dr. Mathew this week for a chronic cough that I have had for over 3 months and seen my gp 3 times and freestanding ER once, all with no results.Greeted and vitals taken by a delightful Holly, seen by Sarah, his very new to his office, PA, followed by a visit with Dr. Mathew and ended with Jana!!Sarah and Dr. Mathew listened, asked relevant questions. The time they spent with me was very appreciated and I left with papers explaining absolutely everything!I have been a patient of his since January, 2024, and will continue to be one as he is compassionate, patient, and has a delightful sense of humor, all while being intelligent and devoted to finding the cause of my problem

Great Diagnosis and Caring Doctor
Dr. Mathew had told me he suspected my on-going respiratory issues were due to a hiatal hernia. When it got to the point, I was going to the ER every other month, he suggested it was time for me to consider surgery and referred me to a thoracic surgeon. The surgery changed my life and resolved my respiratory issues. Dr. Mathew is always caring during our appointments and because of his diligence my life has changed forever.

Horrible Diagnosis
He diagnosed my father with pneumonia for 3 months and come to find out my father had Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer with 2 weeks to live. Didn't have the decency to call and tell us what the PET scan revealed just had a lady in his office call us to refer us to a oncologist. Horrible bedside manners. Save your life and your families and go to another doctor.

I met Dr. Mathew in 2009 when I was hospitalized with a bas case of pneumonia. He helped me recover and I have continued to see him for my Asthma. He is very personable and takes time to listen. I believe he is very compassionate and truly cares about his patients. I have never felt like I was just another patient file in a long list of patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I trust him with my life. His staff are wonderful and they are very kind and helpful. Kathy Baldwin 12/5/2019

AT THE AGE OF 69 I THOUGHT MY PHYSICAL LIFE WAS OVER.I could not walk 15 feet without having to stop and hold on to something to catch my breath.Dr. Mathew put me on a breathing treatment regimen, within one month I could tell my breathing was better and I was more active. now at the age of 71 I can mow my yard and participate in physical activities. as far as I am concerned this doctor saved my life.i went from a oxygen level of between 70% and 75% to 93%./v.foller

Dr. Jefy does not take the time and effort to go through all probable causes of my concerns. He is very dismissive and jumps to conclusion fast. He didn't seem motivated to help narrow down the diagnosis and jumped to conclusion of asthma without a thorough evaluation....

So thankful for Dr. Matthews. He is a listener and did not rush me when explaining my problem. He was able to diagnose and medicate me correctly, offering me relief after years of pain with a complicated lung issue. I wish I had seen him years ago and avoided all the random drugs other doctors had tried. Dr. Matthews knew what I had and how to treat.

My husband was in the hospital for bypass surgery and contacted a very bad lung infection that lot of people do not survive when this happens. That was 8 eight years ago and he is well again. He was in intensive care for 21 days and then transferred to Nexus after 45 days he was up and walking again. The day we went in for his check up he told me my cough , which was awful was asthma and with the new inhaler I have been free from any more attacks. Such a caring doctor. Thank you Dr. Mathew

Was quick to make a diagnosis without doing any lung function tests. Turns out, he was wrong. He has a great bedside manner but did not really listen. I am sure he is great for most problems but mine is a little out of the ordinary.
