Dr. Jenifer Marks, MD

April 19th 2022 .. Dr. Marks removed a cancer from my right lung. Her skill and genuine caring attitude saved my life! Today is exactly 3 years that I have lived fully and happily 'cancer free', she got all of the cancer. Thank you, 'Doc', and may God continue to bless everything you endeavor to do!!

My surgery went extremely well. The next morning, Dr. Marks checked on me before her next surgery. Never had a surgeon do that. She's caring, compassionate. I have complete confidence in her skill as a surgeon.

I am 72 years old and have experienced many doctors in many settings. I am glad to have been referred to Dr. Marks. She obviously knows her medicine very well and does an outstanding job of listening, explaining, answering any and all questions and doing this without any hint of being rushed. After going over all the information necessary, she asked me for what I would like to do and apparently was pleased with my choice and gave me her full support. When our appointment ended, I felt informed, cared about, and liked by my doctor. I left feeling great.

Every visit with Dr. Marks has been very informative and enjoyable. The surgery was life saving. I wish every doctor took the time and was as knowledgeable. A true blessing that she is my doctor.

Highly recommend Dr Marks. I have not been impressed by many physicians, as far as follow through. She took the time to explain everything in detail and what all options might be. Went to Dr. Marks for a second opinion. Never visited with a Doctor who was more courteous, informative, patient and knowledgeable than Dr. Marks. Never had surgery performed by Dr. Marks but if the need ever arose I would not hesitate have her as my Doctor.

I can not say enough good about Dr. Marks. I had a large Hiatal Hernia Surgery by Dr. Marks. Each day after surgery just gets better. I had forgot what it feels like to have your stomach where it belongs. It has been 4 weeks since surgery and I'm back on the courts playing Pickleball ! Dr. Marks and all her staff is outstanding!

Dr. Marks is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, but also seems very committed, thoughtful and genuinely “In the game” with her patients. Dr Marks was recommended to us both by rocky mountain cancer center 7/2016 and colorado blood cancer institute 7/2-18. We choose her for both surgeries. We are very thankful for her urgency in getting my husband in and top level of care.

Dr. Marks did a wonderful job explaining what I had, what needed to be done. Answered all of my questions. I left with the feeling I will be cared for.

Dr Marks did my hiatal hernia repair, which failed 5 months later. Very matter of fact about it on the phone, not even slightly sorry about it. Then as I had moved to southern Colorado, was completely uncooperative in setting up the requisite tests for my REPEAT surgery, multiple requests ignored. (Since she did the initial surgery, it's her responsibility to set up the tests.) I had to find another Primary Care dr to get a referral to a GI, who can order the tests. Not recommended.

I found Dr. Marks to be a very compassionate, dedicated and extremely knowledgeable doctor in her field. In my dealings with her, including my surgery, I found she puts her patients care first and foremost and explains everything in great detail that is easy for a non medical person to understand.

Earlier this year I required removal of a small mass on my lower right lung. Dr. Marks performed the surgery with great skill, leaving me with no unexpected side effects or healing issues. She also provided great consultation services prior to the procedure and excellent follow-up care.

Dr. Jenifer Marks is an excellent surgeon. She did surgery on our daughter, removing the upper right lobe of her right lung after a tumor was found in that right lung. She is caring, professional and we would recommend her with highest ratings.
