Dr. Jenna Kolodziej, DO

I first met her when we were having trouble conceiving. She did some initial lab work and then referred us to a fertility specialist. A surprise to everyone when we got pregnant on our own a few months later and she became my OB. She was so supportive during my pregnancy, addressed my concerns during Covid, and was so caring when I went through several deaths in my family in my last trimester. We, again surprisingly, got pregnant a year after my first was born and she is now my OB again. I find her to be straightforward, reasonable, and supportive of my choices during pregnancy. I haven't had her for delivery, but can imagine she would be a great labor coach. Her nurses are great and I haven't run into any issues with her office staff. I've always felt comfortable during exams and had all my questions answered before I leave the office.

I've only met with her once, and I really appreciated her sense of humor. She seemed very knowledgeable and addressed my concerns without judgement, which can be hard to find in a provider. For my pelvic exam and pap, it was so fast and she kept me engaged that I barely registered that it happened. That's a first for me, I almost always have a good amount of pain in those.

Dr. Kolodziej is very knowledgeable and caring. She cared for me during my pregnancy achieved through IVF and was willing to see me more often to help ease my mind due to everything I had been through to get pregnant. Anytime we had questions or concerns she answered them and was very reassuring. Dr Kolodziej was great in the delivery room as well. Being a first time mom and having a c section she eased my nerves and helped to make it an even more special experience. Her nurse is also awesome!

Came in at age 33 with concerns after not getting pregnant after 8 months of trying. Dr. Kolodziej advised me that I was just having too much intercourse and did not offer any diagnostics/referrals. 2 years later we are still trying to get pregnant and on our second round of IVF after seeking medical help elsewhere. If she would have taken my concerns seriously we might have a baby by now.

I went into Jenna to get my first IUD inserted and she did a really great job with me cause she could tell I was nervous. She didn't explain it in detail (though would if I asked) which I really liked because I think I would've gotten more nervous. She told me exactly what sensations to expect which was helpful so I knew what I was supposed to feel. Nurse was great as well! I trust her in my first visit more than I do a doc at St.Mikes.

What I love about her is that she is willing to forgo "standard practice" as she gets to know you. On my 12 week visit, she didn't order me the some of the routine battery of tests (aka STD testing and pap smear) because she knows me, she knows my medical history, and she doesn't want to give us the costs of tests we DON'T need. Thank you Dr. Kolodziej for your common sense, fiscally conscious, client focused care!

She seemed knowledgeable and nice. Her schedule is not flexible. Im in the process of my first pregnancy and work full time. Willing to travel to either point or rapids, but she's never available for appointments. They offer her partner Dr. Bergin (extremely nice and I'd transfer care to him but he doesn't deliver anymore). It'd be nice to actually see the dr that is being entrusted the biggest event of one's life. The receptionist are not kind and unwilling to help. Definitely going elsewhere
