Absolutely made me feel like I was wrong for going to the ER. I had a ganglion cyst removal and the skin was pulling apart, and after been told by my Podiatrist to go to the ER, I felt like I was there for the wrong reason. I was even told by another Podiatrist that it looked like a wound dehiscence and I needed to go for a wound culture to clean it and start me on anitbiotics. Well, I guess the ER philosophy is true of " treat 'em and street 'em", because I didn't feel I received adequate care.
