So caring and helpful!
A great experience for my son in the ER and during his hospital stay. Dr. Cheng was so helpful and knowledgeable as she guided us through the situation. She was super accomodating getting us a follow up appointment after he was discharged. Even during our follow up she took the time to make sure all our needs and questions were answered. A pleasant experience!!

Dr Jennifer Cheng is caring, professional, thorough -- and beyond. In the nearly 3 years since I first had an appointment with her for a major issue (Dec 2020 -- we all know the added challenges of THAT time), she has been compassionate, detailed, so VERY well informed and detailed. She goes above and beyond in listening, asking questions - and in being a superb medical professional. I'm so lucky to have selected her for care and treatment, and can speak to her constant attention, focus on me (and my issues) and follow-up (phone, in person, suggestions and reaching out to colleagues on my team). Dr Cheng is engaged in my health, success and supportive of my choices. Thank you Dr Cheng!!!

False records
Notes in portal from my visit say the opposite of what I told them I was feeling, and have things listed like"no swelling or joint pain" "no tender spots in abdomen" and "positive for palpitations" even though no one ever touched me. I have swelling in my neck for 6 months and no one felt my thyroid. My legs have edema that is quickly worsening. They are not competent to treat thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto's. I asked them to fix record and they did not. Don't go here.

Dr. Cheng created items on the 'Progress Notes' of my office visit that never happened. She charged the office visit at the highest rate possible even though all of the items that are required to make that rate a realistic charge did not occur. She pushed me to get a prescription for Synthroid even though my THS reading was only marginally higher than normal. Avoid this doctor.

Dosen't explain, give proper info after diagnosis of adrenal insificamcy (Addison's disease). Given no pamphlet till I ended up in ER. Info told me needed double doses when stressed,sick! She made me aware of this at my second appt,AFTER I had told her I had fallen! Never told me needed a medical bracelet,injectible dose!She also went back and forth on my diagnosis! First was adrenal insificanciy then pituitary now she has confirmed that is adrenal insificanciy !WVU needs to be aware of there dr

I have found Dr Cheng to be very efficient, professional, and well informed. She is treating me for subclinical hyperthryroidsim and I feeling better than any time in the past 12 years. I've had nothing be positive experiences in my dealings with Dr. Cheng and for that matter WVU Medical Center.
