I saw Dr Duong today for the very first time. She was wonderful! She was attentive and asked me many questions about my health history and my family. I felt she genuinely cared about me and my family. I can’t believe she only has 3 stars here- as I would recommend her to everyone I know. I’m glad I was able to secure her as my GP!

There are two types of doctors out there. The ones that listen and ones that don't. I know it because I'm a nurse who dealt with a variety of medical professionals throughout my career. Dr. Duong belongs to category that don't listen to their patients. She thinks/assumes she knows better what's the right approach to your condition and completely disregards your feelings or, in my case, medical knowledge. I felt extreme tension while she pushed her ideas on me completely disregarding what I was suggesting. Very frustrating experience at best. Would not recommend.

I went to see Dr. Duong as my primary was not available. She was very attentive and listened to my issue and gave options. I love my primary or I would have switched. I also like that she was straight forward with her responses.

I got lost and was 15 minutes late. I was getting my first check up with Dr. Duong since relocating to CA. I am diabetic, on a brand new formulatory, I have high lipid panels, high blood pressure, and quite a few other genetic and environmental issues. They scheduled me for two and a half weeks out. Fine. That’s reasonable. Upon my arrival, she flat-out refused to see me, even though there was not a single person in the waiting room. Not one. She didn’t even have the decency to say it to my face. Instead, she used an embarrassed intermediary. I invoked my right to have them destroy the medical records I provided. They haven’t gotten back to me. I’m not surprised. I didn’t find this doctor to have the professional ethics or empathy necessary for a CA licensed medical practitioner. Since she refused to see me, I cannot comment on her quality or lack of quality as a physician. And I have no intention of finding out. Next stop: the CA Licensing Board complaint portal.

Dr Duong has a lot to learn. I went in with on cat scan done and some stomach problems. She told me it looks like cancer. She didn’t tell me any other possible thing it could be. She put in urgency to the oncologist and a GI specialist. I was so scared for days thinking I at 40 had some sort of cancer. After going to the GI specialist I got another ct scan with contrast and was told most likely it was a ulcer. Dr. Duong should have never brought up the C word and allowed the specialist to find what was going on with me. Longest week of my life.

Great experience. She was well spoken and kind. I'm surprised she has any bad reviews. Very knowledgeable and good bedside manner. She is a young doctor so not as experienced as others, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Dr Jennifer doung was really bad. Wouldn't recommend her. the exam went really short and she reminds me of someone working in retail not a doctor. She isn't really in tune with medicine and I had asked her a few questions received very vague answers. Feel like I'm seeing a intern at best.

Not a Good doctor lacking medical knowledge. Way to casual and laid back approach to health. I can't believe Scripps hired her. Wrote prescription wrong & blood work. Basic training skills not administered & found her to be nice but lacking skills.
