Disappointing
I was referred to Dr. Eisenstein to discuss options after I was found to have a genetic mutation that greatly increases my breast cancer risk. She began talking about Tamoxifen and I pointed out that my family all had TNBC, not receptive to Tamoxifen. I was frustrated that she hadn't reviewed my history or asked about this. Does she just treat patients with this without understanding when it is effective or recommended? I asked if she understood this and she told me that if I was referred to her, it was only for Tamoxifen, because that's what she does. I asked if I could be referred to a breast oncologist, and she said that's what she is. If you are looking for a breast oncologist, I'd go to someone who understands the field and when various treatments should be used instead of someone with limited experience or curiosity.

Not the best
Dr. Eisenstein was my oncologist in kaiser from 2020-2021. When I had lung cancer in 2020, she ordered an MRI of the brain and showed that the cancer has not spread to the brain at that time when the lung cancer was confirmed. But she failed to do a follow-up MRI even 6 months after! The lung cancer has spread to Brain in less than 6 months and I had 12-24 hours to live when the brain tumor was confirmed. Thanks God I had an emergency brain surgery and I survived to tell the story. Even after that, Dr Eisenstein REFUSED to allow me to take a PREVENTATIVE oral chemo drug even though MD Anderson (the leading cancer treatment facility, costed me over 20k) requires it. I had to switch oncologist within kaiser and He let me have that drug. Dr Eisenstein only motivated by money as that drug is a tier 5 drug and extremely expensive. For almost 3 years since I took that drug, I am still cancer free. However, The brain surgery caused me to learn how to walk all over again!
