Unkind and uncaring. Will dismiss you if you don’t fit her cookie cutter treatment. Literally will drop you as a patient, cancel all upcoming appointments and tests even if you have an active infection. Wait times are absurd and office communication is almost impossible.

Dr. Gilby is everything that’s wrong with healthcare. She is rude and arrogant. Your visit will feel rushed and you won’t feel valued or heard. She hand picks her patients, so if you know her personally, then you are in luck.

Love Dr. Gilbey and trusted her judgment completely on my health decisions. Wish I could find her!!

I had had a recurring Bartholin gland cyst for almost three years before I found Dr. Gilby. Every other doctor gave me antibiotics, lanced it, and sent it on my way. I even had one failed marsupialization done by another doctor. I was constantly in pain and wanted it GONE. Dr. Gilby immediately booked a surgery for me after examining me to remove the gland. She was absolutely wonderful. It was a really easy surgery to undergo and I have no scar or issues, just relief. I cannot thank her enough for her kind demeanor and expert care!

Terrible experience - from waiting over an hour for Dr Gilby to show up for my appt to feeling like she was frustrated (about what? who knows?), in a hurry, and inconvenienced by my appt. The very first thing they do when you check in to see Dr Gilby as a new patient is ask you to watch a cheesy, canned video basically advising you that Dr Gilby and/or Women’s Care requires patients to sign an agreement saying that they will not sue Dr Gilby for mistakes or malpractice before you can be accepted as a patient!!! That was a huge red flag and should’ve been big enough for me to leave immediately but I didn’t listen to my gut. I sincerely regret that now.

I have had a growing problem with post-menopausal urinary and bowel incontinence. I haven't had much inspiration from my GI doc or my urologist. But when I went to Dr. Gilby, she listened carefully, grasped the totality of the problem, said that this condition CAN be improved, it is NOT a normal result of aging, and aggressively began to plan out my treatments of pelvic floor therapies along with a bladder calming diet for 3 months. Four months later and I am so, so much better. She is bright, she is dynamic, and she is caring and communicative - a great combination in a doctor.

BEST UROGYN SURGEON in ST PETE! Dr Gilby came highly recommended by my PCP, Urologist, and Cardiologist. I had been told that surgery was not an option for me to repair my prolapse, but she was able to make it happen. She also was able to stop my urinary leakage in 4 weeks after being treated by multiple urologists and PCPs without success. She takes a multifactorial approach to my problems and worked through them step by step with me over a 2 months period of time. I am no longer wearing diapers and sitting in puddles of urine with severe bulging of my organs from my vagina. She has given me my life back. I am eternally grateful. I would go live on TV, radio and billboards to tell everyone about this wonderful physician. Truly a blessing to this community. Worth every minute you have to wait, because I know she is helping the person ahead of me just like she will help me at each appointment.

St Pets BEST OBGYN! I can go on for hours about how amazing Dr Gilby is as a person and a doctor. She goes out of her way to listen and hear every single problem everytime I go to the office.She explains medical problems very clearly and gives me handouts to take home and learn more from. She's able to remove huge fibroids with the tiny robotic incisions and I got to go home that day. She does pellet hormones and now I feel like a brand new woman. She was recommended to me by more than 10 people including St Pete doctors!

Her staff is welcoming and efficient, She is caring, informative and generous with her time. She is dedicated to my good health and is resourceful and perceptive..

Dr Gilby always answers my questions. She does not leave the room until you are satisfied. She is caring and professional.
