Dr. Jennifer Giordano, DO

I did a Tele visit and I was so happy to be able to do that. We only have 1 car and it's hard for me to get to my appointments so I don't know what I'd do without the Tele visits

She listened to all my concerns, tried different types of thyroid hormone to help me, diagnosed me with PCOS. She offers video and phone visits which are very helpful for my schedule and so that I don't have to miss work or get childcare. Highly recommend her!

Dr. G has helped me so much through my life!! She is honestly one of the best doctors I've ever had. The fact that she can do appointments online helps me so much as well, considering I live about an hour and 1/2 away! She has helped me control my diabetes in a way I never could have without her. When I get on my video visits with Dr. Giordano, she is nothing but compassionate, helpful and honestly just your biggest supporter. She wants to see her patients thrive and live a happy healthy life. I couldn't be more grateful for her, and honestly I couldn't ask for anything more in a doctor. She cares about my health and always makes sure I know I can come to her if any problems arise and we will sort them out as quick as possible. She truly is an amazing doctor. Thank you for all you do everyday!!

I suffer from Hashimoto’s/Hypothyroidism. For over 30 years my thyroid levels were completely unmanaged - too high, too low & every where in between. I saw every endocrinologist in a 50 mile radius. I had about given up and even considered having my thyroid surgically removed. Then, I found Dr. Giordano! I remember my first words to her like it was yesterday. I said, “I am the patient who can’t be managed.” Dr. Giordano responded, “I am the doctor who won’t let that happen.” AND she didn’t!!! Within 3 months she had my thyroid within normal limits! That was March of 2019 and she continues to provide the very best care! My thyroid levels have remained completely managed and in the normal range. Dr. Giordano is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable - no case is hopeless. I am living proof!

I have referred Dr G to numerous family and friends. She diagnosed me with a brain tumor which my other dr’s never found and has stood by me and my family thru the whole situation. Her patient care and willingness to help is one of her strongest attribute. She has a positive attitude and helps keep you positive thru your illness. I trusted her with my life and I’m glad I did. Thanks Dr G for all you are and do!

I first saw Dr. Giordano about 3 years ago. Since then, her office has canceled or rescheduled multiple appointments because she “couldn’t be in clinic that day”. The few times I’ve actually seen her, she’s rushed through my appointments and really didn’t listen to anything I was saying or asking. The impression I got was that it was because she just didn’t have any answers or know what to say, so instead of just saying “I don’t know”, she either interrupted me or bypassed my questions. During my most recent follow-up, she completely contradicted everything she tentatively diagnosed or suggested during my last visit. She’s terrible at follow-up on test results and rarely communicates in a reasonable amount of time. While she might be fine for basic endocrine problems, I would definitely seek out someone else for any conditions beyond that. I’m currently looking for another endocrinologist with better communication, experience, and knowledge.

I’ve been using her since the VA sent me to her about 2 years ago. And I have never been happier with the care I get. For the first time in 6 years she has managed to get my thyroid under control. As well as she replies or calls back in a timely manner. She listens to her patients which is hard to come by.

If I could give her a zero, I would. She did not listen to me at all with regard to symptoms and wanted to change the medicine I was on that was working well. She was rather rude at the end of the visit and was condescending with a smile on her face. Listen to your patients, not to the pharmaceutical rep that visits your practice! Beware!!
