Dr. Jennifer Maitra, MD

Same thing as all of her other patients have said about her. She showed up an hour late, doesn’t care if she’s late, chit chats and gossips with the staff, and terrible bedside manner. She didn’t check my ears nose or throat even though I had just been getting over being sick. She dismissed everything I said and minimized my how felt. She is terrible.

After waiting 40 minutes I was told Dr was not even in the office yet. She came in an hour late and had an attitude of I should be glad she showed up at all. No apology for being an hour late, not even an explanation. The appointment was then very rushed lasting less than 5 minutes.

Dr Jennifer Maitra is an excellent doctor who really cares about her patients. She is extremely knowledgeable and works together with me to find solutions to my health challenges. She is patient and very reliable. When I ask her for referrals, she sends them in a timely manner. I feel like I’m in good hands and that she has my back. That’s a great feeling!!

Shows genuine care for customers, and respect your decisions

I absolutely love Dr. Maitra. Sadly, I live in NYC and can only see her when I'm in AZ, but she is the best doctor I've been to (and I've been to a lot at this point). I was shocked to see that she had any negative reviews at all. She's so compassionate and kind, and she takes time to run through everything with me, even when I have an annoyingly long list of complaints. She also gets back to me quickly on our online portal, which I really appreciate. I've spent the past month complaining that I can't seem to find a good doctor like her, so I guess it'll just be another excuse to come to AZ once a year! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I only went to Dr Maitra because my doctor left the practice. I had to sit in the examining room for over an hour waiting for her. She is not a warm person. She ordered unnecessary tests and did not tell me insurance would not cover them. When I called to make a follow up appointment, I asked if the wait time is always long. They told me it was. I am not going back.

The worst experience of my medical life. She has an aggressive personality and ego that takes up your entire appt. She showed zero compassion for my situation. I would not pick this doctor under any circumstances. She’s rude. She accused me of arguing with her when I tried to ask questions. She tried to treat me like I had mental health issues because I was afraid of why I had became so sick. She used my entire appt arguing an inaccurate definition of anxiety disorder to me and then gave me a RX for estrogen. I had to read later in my online file that I am going through menopause yet she spoke nothing of this diagnosis during my actual appt. Military families do not use your benefits at this clinic.

Waited 2 hours past my appointment time she did not even show up to the office until an 1 and a half past my appointment time. I overheard her talking about her child's sleepover the night before so she purposely came in late knowing she had appointments scheduled and no apology until I expressed my frustration.
