Dr. McCabe Lentz is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely loves being a doctor. She listens to my concerns and we work as a team to achieve a workable plan. She is a brilliant Dr who works diligently to research a diagnosis. I use texts, emails, or in person visits to her office when health problems arise. Her rates are reasonable and she will find the best prices on prescriptions. She advocates for my best health by “thinking outside the box”. She is a RARE find who exceeds all my expectations!

Dr. Lentz has changed my future. I am 38 lbs lighter and educated in why, as well as how to stay healthy. I have never experienced such close communication with my physician. If I need an appointment, I’m usually in the same or next day. We spend time just talking as she evaluates my health overall, unlike the ‘10 minutes per complaint’ model that’s typical in health care today. Most importantly, I feel that she actually cares about my health. That’s unique. Dr. Lentz is the best.

Dr. McCabe-Lentz is knowledgeable, compassionate, takes the time needed, is thorough in addressing my needs, considers my comments or questions with kindness and respect. She has a broad-scope outlook on my treatment for ALS and I appreciate that. When a referral is needed she has a keen sense of who and what will best fit me and my care.

She is a wonderful doctor. I have worked with lots of doctors because I have two chronic diseases diagnosed over 20 years. She is patient, listens well, explains things, and goes through lab results so that I understand what the numbers mean. I never feel rushed. Her focus is NOT more drugs and higher dosages; it's good regular exercise and good diets ((watch those carbs!) :). My outcomes, lower weight, lower dosages, fewer meds. BP down and A1c very good.

With my health condition I will miss appointments at the last minute. At first Dr. McCabe Lentz said that was OK and she would work with me on that.. I missed two appointments this month and Dr. McCabe Lentz fired me. She will no longer see me and told me to find a new doctor. This forces me to go cold turkey off a Benzodiazepine medication. Abrupt stopping of Benzodiazepine can lead to seizures. Unprofessional and lacking compassion.
