Dr. Murphy listens and explains things very well so that I could understand my condition. She has always been professional and caring. Even with her busy schedule she has always given me ample time with my questions or concerns. I highly recommend her and her professionalism.

Worst Doctor ever
After asking me questions about my condition for an hour, she told me I would never get well and would end up in a wheelchair and that she had nothing to help me. End of appointment. I have never had a Doctor be so hopeless to me. I have gotten better from this disease many times before with very encouraging Doctors. I left in tears. Very uncaring Doctor.

I found her to be confrontational and dismissive, challenging my symptom reporting as though she didn't believe me, even though I had several years of labs with me at the appt supporting what I had told her. She also seemed unprofessional in claiming she didn't trust lab results from my primary care provider. I had seen her 4 years prior, and she seemed kinder and more attentive at that time. I left her office crying at how demeaning she was today.

With my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend her. I saw her for 3 years and was told that I had fibromyalgia, which I accepted. But I didn't accept that it was just fibromyalgia. I felt like it was more and it turned out to be more. After she dismissed me as a patient in December of 2017, telling me that she didn't think she could do anything else for me and that I might just need to accept that it is only fibromyalgia. 2 weeks later comma after a CT scan. I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis.
