Dr. Jennifer Myers, MD

I cannot recommend Myers Dermatology more highly. I’ve been a patient for a few years and after retirement, decided to “job shadow” the office staff who greet patients, answer phone calls and access medical records in the front office. Wow! These phenomenal women are the engine driving a very smooth operation in a relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Myers is a very caring and compassionate physician who is responsive to her patients. Even before my experience of “a day in the life ” I would have given this office and staff 5/5 stars! In my opinion Dr. Myers and her staff provide the highest quality dermatology services in the Lafayette area! JP

Dr Myers provides really world class patient care. She is very knowledgable. . I wish I had gone to her years ago. She carefully listens and I never feel rushed. She provides very easy to understand advice regarding medical issues. She is very patient and also very kind as is all of her staff. I highly recommend her. I never have wait times.

Dr. Myers has been my doctor for quite sometime now. Almost 7 years. I actually have seen both Leslie and Dr. Myers. I bring my children and parents to see them also. I have never had a problem with them scheduling me or my family members. I can see how it can be frustrating when trying to get a appointment anywhere with in the last couple months due to the Covid-19 outbreak. I don't work in the healthcare system but I can probably imagine that it wasn't easy trying to accommodate everyone since the shutdown of medical offices. For someone to write a bad review on them is beyond me. They NEVER tried to push products on me or my family members. I am happy with them and will continue to use them for me and my family.

I took my 90 year old grandfather to see Dr Myers. She took over as his new dermatologist and treated him for various skin problems. He has trouble hearing and also understanding most people and Dr Myers took the time to make sure he understood everything with the visit and treatment. She corrected a problem he had been misdiagnosed with for many years. I am very happy we were referred to her. She is one of the most kindest people you will ever meet and an outstanding medical professional.

I have had the WORST time with her and her office. I've seen her for 9 years and am leaving. They are TERRIBLE at scheduling. Call one day and they don't have an opening for a month. The next day they have an opening every day the next week??? I had an appointment scheduled and confirmed. They called and forced me to reschedule less than 24 hours before my appointment because Dr. Myers had a gap in patients and wanted to LEAVE rather than wait for my appointment because I couldn't come earlier. Ridiculous. If i did that as a patient, I would have to pay a fee. I am looking for a new doctor that cares more about their patients than leaving work early. Also, she is mainly concerned with selling her products (makeup, soap etc.) and cosmetic treatments than recommending affordable items to buy. It's marketing overload. I want a doctor that will care for me as a patient and care less about making the most money possible.

Comment: Dr Jennifer, Leslie, and their staff, are the best when it comes to dermatology! I’ve suffered with cystic acne since high school. I found Myers Dermatology in 2014 after giving up on ever having clear skin. Dr Jennifer took one look at me and said, “I can help u!” I cried. Every other dermatologist I had seen before treated me with topical medications that never seemed to work. She prescribed Absorica. She said my oil glands produced too much oil and that topicals would never work, so we needed something to work from the inside out. Myers Dermatology gets 5 stars from me! Everyone there is so compassionate, caring, and understanding.

Dr. Meyers has been treating me for years. She's helped me conquer my rosacea and provided several different treatment options for the breakouts and scarring. Since seeing her staff for in office procedures, my scarring and breakouts have reduced and my confidence has sky rocketed. I can now say I love my skin! So grateful for my skincare team.

Dr. Myers is the fourth dermatologist I've been to for acne. She's the first who has actually helped me understand the issue without scaring me about my skin issues or making me feel stupid. I can't explain how much of a relief it is to have finally found a compassionate and knowledgeable derm that I can trust with my skin.

Today was the third appointment I've had here and they excel in customer service. Very friendly, but more importantly...they have cured any skin condition that I've had. I highly recommend them without reservation.

I was so nervous about my appt today as these can be uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing, they made me feel comfortable and showed they understood my concerns and helped to understand a fix and put me on treatment schedule

Our son has been living with horrible eczema flare ups for about two years now. We’ve been to other doctors but the results always left us hopeless. We finally decided to try Myers Dermatology, but went in with little hope that we’d see results. I was wrong!! Dr. Myers and her staff helped us to understand the root of eczema flare ups and educated us thoroughly on how to calm our son’s eczema, relieve his irritation and itching, and treat his skin on a daily basis.
