Dr. Jennifer Nayor, MD

I have been seeking help with my rare GI issues for years to no avail. I read an article on Dr. Nayor from Emerson Hospital about a lady who had not been able to eat a lot of different foods and found a solution at Emerson Hospital. The first day I met Dr. Nayor I expressed my need to be able to be social again, eat something that is not cooked by, and be able to go on vacations as I couldn't do that, eating out would trigger a lot of pain. After a lot of testings, some I had never had before, she was able to diagnose IEM, which was new to me, and prescribed medicine. This took 3 months compared to years of agony! My insurance would not cover it, but her office was kind enough to find an alternative pharmacy to order this medicine and after 6 months, I was able to go on a trip and eat out and have no issues whatsoever. It's not just that she nailed it. Dr. Nayor 'listened' to me and my goal. Her PA, Matt, has been helpful keeping up with my condition and all staff is kind and cordial.

I have over 30 years of experience working in healthcare. I researched her education / training prior to scheduling. She is super impressive across the board and in person. I give her my highest reccomendation.

As a new patient Dr. Nayor had screened my history before my visit. She was extremely thorough and left no stone upturned. She had a tremendous amount of knowledge about my rare condition. As a medical professional I was most impressed by my new GI physician. On top of that she has a wonderful disposition and is a pleasure to deal with. I have been a patient at MGH and Brigham for over 35 years and i've dealt with some wonderful doctors and Dr. Nayor is one of them.
