Refused to remove birth control implant
My daughter’s BC arm implant was due to be removed in Nov23 and she did not want it anymore. She felt it was making her very emotional and verbalized this to Dr. Northridge. My daughter could only get a Tele-med visit in Nov at which time Dr. Northridge continually noted she did not think it should be removed, as it was good for 5 years. My daughter made appt for Feb because she still wanted it out. During the appointment, Dr. Northridge told her it should not be removed and that she needed therapy. As she was talking, my daughter got emotional and said this is exactly why I want it out because I feel like everything makes me cry. In a snarky tone Doc said, “yeah okay, let’s go with that!” She told her they would get to removal at end of visit. The end of visit came, and she said they were out of time and that she would need to reschedule to get it removed. The next appt was in May. She was seen by another doc who removed it right away as it is not approved for 5 yrs.

Dr. Northridge is a nice person but I was sorry that I used her service. The pills prescribed by her to my teenager daughter did not help and actually created another problem. I had to find another doctor

Dr. Northridge was amazing with my young teenager. She dealt with a very sensitive topic with tremendous wisdom, patience, and sensitivity. She spent so much time with us, giving clear explanations with visuals and examples to make sure we were well informed. She has a calm, warm and reassuring manner.
