Dr. Jennifer Paruch, MD

Dr Paruch was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable in what could have been an embarrassing situation.

This doctor doesn’t care about your time or health. I arrived to my appointment on time and waited for the doctor for over an hour while she saw a previous patient during my schedule time. The nurses made it seem like this is something she does very often. She kept telling me “just a minute” while she made phone calls and asked other nurses for favors. Once I said I was leaving she was ecstatic and said “okay!!” No remorse or apology. I was unable to get a refund for my visit and on my visit summary she misdiagnosed me and wrote down the wrong reason for my visit. The professional thing to do would have been to come directly to my room to treat me after being an hour late. Very selfish and a waste of money for me and my insurance.

A year ago I ended up in ER for emergency surgery. The ER doctors recommended Dr. P. as my follow-up physician. She provided expert care with multiple office visits over several months to get me back to good health. I appreciated her taking time to discuss the emergency procedures I had gone through and what steps we needed to take next. She was very good at answering my questions. I highly recommend her.

After my surgery, I saw her once when the anesthesia wore off and once for an after visit. Cancer was found, and I called and emailed several times with questions: each time I have been ignored. She told me that she was going out of her way to present my malignant tumor case to a board of experts, because she had to cancel a day she had called off. It is four months after surgery and she has still not answered my numerous questions.

Dr. Paruch is a gifted surgeon who performs GI surgery with a minimally invasive approach. I had 2 surgeries under her care with one being emergently needed. She has calm professional manner.
