I recently had surgery to fix my flat foot.I selected Dr.Van because of her extensive credentials. When I first met her I could tell she was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about her work. Dr. Van was amazing from start to finish. On the day of my surgery my family members noted that she was thorough in her updates which reinforced her knowledge and passion. I would highly recommend Dr.Van to anyone in need of foot and ankle surgery.

In November 2023, Dr. Van performed a minimally invasion left foot bunion correction on me.. I had been in pain with my foot for several years and I walked with limp. Four months postop and I am now pain free and I walk normally. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. Moreover, Dr. Van treated me with compassion, understanding and professionalism.

I became a patient with Dr. Van in April 2023 and had a major foot surgery on my right foot for Flat Feet in July 2023 and I am still going for post surgery visits. Dr. Van has been phenomenal during this entire process; answering questions, filling out forms for work and insurance and her bedside manner. I would definitely recommend her for all foot needs.

Dr. Van was beyond nice and made me feel so comfortable and less nervous on a procedure she had to do on my foot. She personally call me to check on my about a week after surgery. She is a doctor that goes above and beyond for her patients. Absolutely wonderful experience with her all around.

I have had toe pain for the last seven years. I tried cortisone shots and two years ago tried a chielectomy, none of which gave relief that lasted and so my podiatrist recommended a toe fusion. I came to Dr. Van in bad shape looking for a second opinion. After examining my foot and reviewing my X-rays/history, she recommended a non-invasive toe fusion. Dr. Van was thorough and attentive listening carefully to my history. I knew right away that she was the doctor to go with. She was very responsive both before and after surgery. Within weeks of my surgery I felt relief. The difference between my invasive cheilectomy and non-invasive fusion was night and day; I was in pain much longer from the cheilectomy—which only provided minimal relief for a short period of time. By 8-9 weeks post non-invasive toe fusion surgery I was able to participate in my daughter’s parents vs the kids soccer game. I feel great and now I am able to do things I haven’t been able to do in years! Thank you Dr Van!

From start to finish, she was present and attentive and answered all our questions with clarity and confidence. This was our son's second reconstruction, the right to be his first. We had concerns regarding his pain management. We couldn't get it under control during his first surgery fast enough. Dr. Van listened to us and always made herself available via phone or email. When she says a call or email away, that's what she meant! She was not dismissive in saying it was all a part of the healing process. She wanted to ensure he was comfortable after his discharge days, weeks, and months post-op. Dr. Van takes the time to listen, and she is very compassionate. She has such a beautiful spirit!

Dr. Van has been an awesome doctor to have as my foot advisor and more important as my surgeon. She is patient , kind and understanding when I have been experiencing pain. Her approach is always one of caring and concerns of my foot problems, the procedure itself and the projected outcome. She treats each problem non-surgically if the situation allows. Dr. Van has always made herself available following my procedures even through email when necessary; answering all my questions that arise during my healing process. She has been treating me for 5 plus years and I am happy to have her as my surgeon. I have referred several people to her and my son is also a patient of hers!

Dr. Jennifer Van is not only a skilled, highly trained diagnostician, practitioner and surgeon, but she is also an amazing teacher, which is really the highest indicator of excellence in any profession. In my experience as Dr. Van’s patient, I have observed not only the way she treats and speaks to me but the way she interacts with all the students and residents who train with her. In addition to being a skilled physician, she is a kind, patient and empathetic human being, with excellent communication skills. During the pandemic, when resources and services were severely limited, she went out of her way to be accessible and reassuring to me, especially because I was faced with an emergency situation. She and her team competently diagnosed my unusual problem and successfully performed surgery on my foot. Her positive attitude spreads throughout her practice because every other person I have interacted with has been equally friendly, extremely helpful, and professionally adept.

My experience with Dr. Van was excellent. She has an awesome bed side manner. She answered all my questions and made me very comfortable with everything that I had going on. She was upfront and honest with me and never once made me feel like I was a "bother". Even with as busy as she always was, I felt like I had her full attention and as if I was her only patient. On March 9, 2020, Dr. Van performed a foot procedure of fixing a major joint damage and correcting deformity which I suffered for years. For this procedure, foot function recovery usually takes 3-6 month and foot swollen may last up to a year based on google search. By today March 24, 2020, my foot swollen is mostly gone , surgery pain is gone and foot functions are mostly resumed. I am so much thrilled! Tomorrow I can go back work. Dr. Van is an excellent foot surgeon. People in this area are fortunate to have Dr. Van. in our community!

I met Dr. Van a few months ago when I brought my grandmother in. She was very patient as everything had to be translated. She provided my grandmother with the best care. I now bring my father in law to this location. The receptionist are kind,respectful and helpful.

My experience with Dr. Van has been excellent. She assisted me with the decision-making process for bunion surgery, explaining the pros and cons based on my lifestyle and work. The surgery went perfectly and post-surgical care was excellent. She also helped me "limp" through a subsequent stress fracture in the same foot and the resulting consequences. And, through it all, she has been someone with whom I can talk directly and get back a straightforward response. A true pleasure to work with.

Dr. van has treated me on multiple occasions, Two surgeries one of which was a repair of a compound fracture on my right leg she is kind compassionate and extremely attentive to her patients at least in my case I’m sure her professionalism carries over to everyone she sees and comes in contact with.
