Knowledgeable and caring surgeon
Dr. Weiss has taken care of each of my 3 children over the years and we feel lucky to have her on our team. She listens carefully, shares her thought process, and is supportive of the kids’ perspectives as well as parent’s. To the prior reviewers, I can’t imagine what your standards are and if you don’t like the Kaiser system for handling records then find a different healthcare system rather than blaming the doctor within the system. Thanks Dr. Weiss for your thoughtful care and for being a strong, intelligent woman in a male dominated specialty.

Dismissive, condescending, and unhelpful. Showed up 20 minutes late to our appointment. Someone with such an appalling lack of empathy should not be in a healing profession.

After seeing Weiss for an injury, I needed an insurance form to be filled out, which would have taken her, or her assistant, 30 seconds. However, she made a point of forwarding me to giving me the snail-mail address of the medical correspondence office. Clearly, if there is such a policy in place, and I am not sure who would benefit from such a policy other than insurance companies, this could be handled internally.

Unfriendly and abrupt. She made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. No empathy for our child or what we were going through.
