DO NOT RECOMMEND
Dr. Andrus and her team are a group of most unprofessional doctors I have ever worked with. Where do I start? With the fact that they told me at one point that I had arthritis in my hips, only to bring me in for injections and for Dr. Andrus to tell me WHILE I AM ALMOST BUTT NAKED ON THE TABLE WAITING TO GET THESE INJECTIONS, that she finally got around to taking another look at those scans and that she doesn’t think I actually have arthritis? Or should I start with the fact that I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and got asked at today’s appointment by her PA why I was dissatisfied with my treatment if it was only my “second visit here”? They don’t look at your notes before they enter the room. They don’t care about you or your health and in my opinion just look to make a profit off of SCS devices. Use your own judgement, but I personally wouldn’t recommend coming to her or her team.

Competent, Compassionate and Courteous
Several complications in my back and hip resulted in seeing Dr. Andrus before and after the hip replacement by Dr. Haynes. I was completely impressed by Dr. Andrus's thoroughness in locating the source of my pain, and addressing the possible treatments. She was very conservative in her approach, which I appreciated. I felt completely comfortable with her recommendations, considering them very wise insights into possible outcomes. I do not hesitate to give her my highest recommendation.

Compassion
I had my backpack containing my pain meds stolen from my car in a shopping center on a Saturday. I had no pain med beginning early afternoon on Saturday. On Sunday, withdrawal symptoms became unbearable, so I went to the ER. I was given 1 tablet of 5 mg, though I take 10 mg. On Monday, I went to my primary care physician, who prescribed me enough for 30 days. Within the 30 days, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Andrus. I explained my problem, offered to share the police report and requested a new prescription. Dr. Andrus invoked the patient agreement, which states that a patient is subject to dismissal if pain meds are lost or stolen. I was dismissed from the practice, though I am also a professional with a Ph.D. in Applied Science and on the faculty of a College. I understand that I agreed to be dismissed, if my medication was lost or stolen. However that situation is far from one's mind when one signs. So, all patients are treated as criminals, regardless of integrity.

I am very pleased with Dr. Andrus. We are hopeful that she can help with my lower back pain. So far I am pleased with her approach. I highly recommend that she add face cradles to her tables and provide a stool for patients to use getting on and off the tables This is especially helpful for us older people.

You wonder if she's just in a bad mood or hates you as soon as she meets you. As a patient, that shouldn't cross my mind.

I have had knee pain for several years, tried gel shots with another doctor with no improvement. Dr Andrus recommended nerve blocks for both knees. I was amazed at the improvement. She has given me more time so I can avoid surgery. She is very knowledgeable and professional. Dr Andrus definitely knows her stuff!

I have had many pain management doctors over the years, had to be withdrawn from narcotics; Dr. Andrus is the BEST pain management doctor I have ever had!!!! NO pain pills, and she helps me to understand why I am in chronic pain. Dr. Andrus has given me shots in my back many times and it works!!!!! My husband and I both see her!!!!

Dr andrus got many bad ratings here, but the reason always seems to be the same: “she doesn’t give pain killer pills”. That’s why I went to her, I want to understand my health problem and then find a long term solution, even if that means I have to change my way of living. Everything she said made complete sense and I’m confident that she can help me Long term

I recently had a procedure (EMG) with Dr. Andrus. I was hesitant and nervous because other people I know have told me how much it hurt. She was honest about what to expect and assured me that it would not be as bad as I imagined. Dr. Andrus really seemed to know what she was doing and talked to me the whole time to take my mind off what she had to do. She told me how I was doing all through the procedure and before I knew it -it was over.

My wife went to see this doctor, we left not 5 minutes after talking to her. We went there for help with pain management, and all she wanted to do was give my wife and back brace. No help with the pain what so ever! We did not want endless amounts of pain medication, but just something for the bad debilitating days! And she would not even give an ibuprofen! Don't go and see her, EVER!

This pain doctor does not know a thing about being in pain! I went to her for help in wanting injection/s for burning in my spine. However Dr. Andus saw that I was on ocycodone and started in with interrogation. Treated like a seeker or criminal. was yelling at me stating that she was not the police and was I selling meds! Oh I was so scared for she called my PM Dr and together they decided I needed rehab! No way! My records are perm damaged and I went through 2 months of Hell from W/D!!

She was very rude from the start. I have a lot of horrific pain from a surgery and yes. I have a past and she acted as if I was there for narcotics. Which I was there for help. She made her mins up before she e en seen me. Its so sad that a bad point earlier in life can make her make poor decisions when I need help now more than ever. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. If you have any past.. She looks at you like your dirt. Very unprofessional.I'm in bad PAIN.
