Dr. Jensine Ho, MD

I am 84 years old, lots of new and old health issues, and currently suffering from health failure symptoms among other conditions. Two months ago, Dr. Ho ordered me to wean off certain prescription drug (0.5 mg) by skipping on taking once a week. Then later, I can skip two times a week, and so forth, until I am out of this drug after several months. This particular drug is more than a sleep aid. It reduces arthritis neck pain, relaxes tight heart muscles, helps me breath, and therefore alleviates heart failure symptoms. But I agree to try. As I predicted, each day I was unable to sleep, resulted more stress in already weakened heart and mental condition already struggling. Then suddenly, last week, Dr. Ho decided to deny authorizing refill of the prescription drug. No notice, no explanation. I am unable to sleep and relax ever since. My health deteriorated so much and l felt I could pass out and die in my home any day. I am just dropped as a patient like a piece of garbage. Need help.

Dr. Ho (Lee) is a wonderful physician who genuinely cares about her patients. I have a mess of conditions and have to coordinate care with a team of specialists, and she is very good about working with everyone to ensure I'm being taken care of. She's also a real person, and is very easy to talk to. She does a great job of listening and giving full consideration to my concerns. She is also meticulous and methodical in her approach to diagnosis.

I was very impressed with Dr. Ho (Lee). She was professional and courteous. I felt like she took the time to listen and understand. She offered to help with a medication issue unrelated to the appointment. She promptly responded to an appt. follow-up message I sent to her via MyChart.
