Dr. Jeremy Kokkonen, DO

I never go out of my way to leave reviews, but I couldn't resist singing Dr Kokkonen's praises. He is truly a miracle worker! My pain went away so fast, my friends & relatives joked that I must have been faking the pain. I waited a few months before writing this review just in case the pain came back, but it has not! For the first time in years I have a pain-free life and I owe it all to this doctor.

Most docs treat me like a pain pill addict because of how I look. But from the moment my appointment began I could tell Dr K genuinely cared and did not judge me. He created a treatment plan based on my goals and now I don't even need pills to get through a work day. Since becoming his patient, my soreness, aches, and pains have reduced at a rate far faster than I ever thought possible! For the first time in my life I actually believe it is possible to become pain-free with continued treatment from Dr K.

If more doctors were like Dr. Kokkonen, our healthcare system would not be so broken. He doesn't just try to medicate symptoms. Numerous pain specialists have essentially thrown pills at my health issues. Dr. Kokkonen looks for causes and solutions. What a breath of fresh air in the pain specialty!

Exemplary bedside manner, pays attention to detail, and humble. I was beyond impressed with Dr. Kokkonen. My recovery is going faster than anticipated.

I felt like I was finally listened to. More importantly, he cured my 20+ years of chronic pain in just a few appointments. I am forever grateful!

He went above and beyond expectations and did a thorough evaluation, finding things that were missed by several doctors I saw before Dr K. I have been symptom-free for 3 months, which is my longest stretch of relief in 16 years!

Thank you Dr. K, for being so kind and gentle with my elderly father. People keep asking me how he is recovering so fast after his accident, and I know it is because of your expert care.

Dr. K is very knowledgeable, personable and has a genuine care for his patients. I have had RFA's in the past by another provider, Dr. K's were by far the easiest. Thank you, sir.

injections were not as painful as i thought they would be. doc is friendly and my appointments are always fast

Many doctors gave me pain meds, but they never did anything to try and fix my back pain. Dr. K wanted to lower my pain medication dosage and try injections and physical therapy. At first I resisted and almost went to another doc for more meds. But after we lowered the dose and I tried other things, I realized how addicted I was to the narcotics. They were literally ruining my life! Dr K helped me find healthier ways to manage my pain, and it is improving considerably since I've been his patient.

Dr Kokkonen has horrible bedside manner and his nurse is not any better. I got steroid injections in my back and wasn't able to take anything to help me relax, and both were very rude about this. When I was given injections, he must have hit a nerve because it hurt so bad I about flew off the table! Literally. I started shaking and sweating profusely. When I called the office several times afterwards, no one would ever call me back. I ended up switching doctors. I would never return here.

My 81 yr old mother was referred to him by her primary care provider. Neither of us were impressed by him at all. He seemed very flippant and did not explain benefits, pros and cons of different treatments. Seemed to have a kind of whatever attitude. She has been in extreme pain from sciatica for 2 months He scheduled an MRI and then said to come back. We had to find him outside the room to get something for the pain in the meantime and seemed mostly bothered by us. Terrible bedside manner
