Dr. Jeremy Meisel, MD

I can't even begin to tell you how awful Meisel was. My family member had been showing signs of cognitive decline and we went to Meisel for diagnosis. We sat in his ratty exam room and he shoved a piece of paper at her for the basic memory test. He was gruff, insensitive, and seemed like his own mind was somewhere else entirely. Came back later for other tests and then the big 'diagnosis.' He said she had 'normal age related dementia,' and then sent her on her way. No advice, no staging, no nothing, even after pressing from her spouse. It took 10 minutes at most. It was only a month later when we read through the scan reports ourselves that we saw that she had a diagnosis of Alzheimers. She has declined shockingly fast since then, and his appointments with her are literally 5 or 10 minutes. He takes the cash and offers absolutely nothing of value in terms of prognosis or advice. He is, quite simply, the worst doctor any of us have ever seen. She's finally seeing someone else.
